And a child-like publication shall lead them

  • Wonder how many school kids in the QC marched Friday? If a lot, QC Times should get a lot of credit
  • We say: Stop the child tormentors!

Fortunately there is a solution to those concerns shared by the QCT and other children

If you happen to be one of the few who still believe that the Quad City Times is a serious news publication, one of their latest editorials might change even your mind.

In their effort to inform Quad-Citians on the important issues of the day, the Times is urging its readers to “get thee” to the “climate rally” on Sep. 27, and heed the wise musings of 16 year old Greta Thunberg  and her fellow adolescents:

“We are encouraged by the young people who are refusing to remain silent – people like 16-year-old Greta Thunberg of Sweden, who is leading the Global Climate Strike movement. “

(It is rumored that there are no members of the QCTimes’ editorial board of chronological age 16 or under; still, it is obvious that, even if true, they seek countenance from teens. (keep in mind, though, this is only a rumor.)

The ed board has itself evidently  noted recently, that some spring rains have been ‘heavy’, there have even been “floods”!

Farmers have complained that their “fields” have at times, been “too wet”, and other times, “worry about too little moisture”.

All  indications, in the minds of the Times’ ed board, that, these things must be unprecedented, and “science is giving us warnings.”

If you need further convincing, the QC Times is here for you with their ‘surprising’ disclosure:

“We have seen recent polling that also tells us younger conservatives are far more likely than older ones to believe that global warming is happening, and that humans are the primary cause.”

“Younger conservatives” are more likely than “older” conservatives to believe …”

Uh, let’s see.

This “polling”…who did it?

How did they learn they were polling a younger “conservative”?

And these  “younger conservatives”…these were adolescents still in school? Hearing from their teachers all about ‘human -caused global warming’ from whom…’older conservative’ teachers? Or ‘older  liberal’ teachers? Regularly learning of current issues and events from other various sources, or mainly just in their schools?

Quad-Citians need to give thanks that the Times editorial board is listening to our “younger conservatives” and watching for never before seen weather events…like heavy rains, ‘hot’ summer temperatures, ‘cold’ winter temperatures…and other ‘unexpected climate events’.

Remember...”Science is giving us warnings”!!!!!!         DLH

I can’t EVER remember a farmer complaining that his/her fields were “too wet’. And, drought-like conditions? When was there ever “too little moisture”? Wow! That is, indeed , unprecedented throughout agricultural history!
Thank the Almighty…science and the QC Times, and 16 year old Swedish girls are “giving us warnings”!!!
