The Associated Press is ‘on the case’; determined to get the word out to local news outlets nationally that Trump is imagining that there’s a “Deep State” and that there are unprincipled Democrats, “out to get him”; and that he’s really destroying “civil political discourse”.

That’s how the Associated Press likes to describe President Trump’s ‘terrible, awful, raw, angry’ comments he uses in tweets and in the rallies he appears in, before massive crowds.
From reading the AP one must feel deep sorrow for the reporters who must cover these occasions. To be exposed to this kind of language, it’s obvious that these fine, refined people, especially those who work for the ‘dignified’ “Ass. Press”, are scandalized.
“They’ve been trying to stop us for the past three years with a lot of crap,” he (Trump) stated matter-of-factly about his Democratic opponents…”, the news agency reports.
Imagine! AP staffers having to listen to this…and Trump even said it “MATTER-OF-FACTLY”!!
It has even caught the attention of the saintly Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and, devout Catholic (her words). Ms. Nancy, just the other day noted that President Trump used bad language.
But, to Rashida Tlaib’s “victory comment” last January:
“And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Mama look, you won. Bullies don’t win,’ and I said, ‘Baby, they don’t,’ because we’re gonna go in there and we’re going to impeach the motherf****r,” Michigan Democrat congressperson, Rashida Tlaib said Thursday…, the gracious Ms. Pelosi was notably unperturbed…”it’s a ‘free speech issue…”, she said.
But more importantly, the AP wants the American people to know that President Trump thinks that there has been some kind of a “coup plot” against him by the “political establishment”!
“How silly”, suggests the AP, “why would anybody think that?!”!
The AP hopes that people realize that Trump is even trying to convince his ‘supporters’ that the “legitimate impeachment inquiry” is just an attempt by those he sees as his political enemies to overturn his election. (“Teehee, isn’t that weird “, seems to be the AP’s assessment of this.)
Trump is described as “furious”, as using the “victim card”, as “part of a warlike strategy” to complain ‘relentlessly’ that ‘partisans’ are attempting to put “constraints on his power”. (My, my, who could believe that?! We are SHOCKED! says the AP, “SHOCKED I tell you!)
The highly partisan “news” agency accuses Trump of being “eager to stoke an already-toxic political environment” with his ‘rawness’ and by being the “rawest, angriest, least censored version of himself”.
Here’s one of AP’s prime examples: “Far from the only coarse language in his hour-plus speech, Trump jokingly referred to himself as a “son of a bitch” while imitating an intimate conversation between former FBI agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page…two models of decorum and civility, AP style.
Is that awful…or what? That a political figure would use such “raw” language! Oh, the humanity!” Who does Trump think he is? ‘Uncle’ Joe Biden? (recall, BIDEN: “Well, son of a bitch. He (the Ukrainian prosecutor) got fired.”)
To Americans who may not pay a lot of attention to the political climate or hear the stuff the AP, day-in day-out, is attempting to flood news outlets throughout the nation with, may not realize they are being led to believe that the President and his supporters are imagining that Hillary Clinton was not “a gracious, dignified, selfless, honorable campaigner, full of love for her fellow Americans regardless of their political affiliations and beliefs”. Or, that “she did not have a governing agenda that would bring peace and prosperity to the country she loves”.
And, when she lost, despite running one of the noblest, most cultured, informative, and civil campaigns in modern history, that darn Trump wants his supporters to think she did not accept her defeat with supreme dignity and grace”. (That man…how does he come up with such outrageous accusations!)
