- Republicans demand transparency
While numerically inferior (as House Republicans are) they can win the day by massing in a phalanx or closely packed (sometimes angular) formation to confront the numerically superior force and in doing so push back, scatter and even overrun the numerically superior enemy (Democrats).
In grandiose terms that is sort of what Representative Gaetz of Florida did yesterday, leading at least a couple dozen fellow “Spartans” out to protect America from the Democrat assault on fair play and the entire electoral process in their ruthless activities to unseat President Trump.
Gaetz et al did America’s bidding by entering a closed meeting run by extreme partisan Democrats in order to call attention to the egregious lack of transparency, and due-process of the Democrat deep-state orchestrated star-chamber proceedings.
The Gaetz web site listed 40 as supportive, although it could be that all did not participate. It should be noted that it appear to us that Kevin McCarthy was part of the effort although not listed. Good for him. Double check the video clip below to be sure. We did notice Minority Whip Steve Scalise and Iowa’s own Steve King.

Even though they are in the majority, the Republican Senate apparently needs a “phalanx” — just muster the “manhood” to seize the day and proceed with transparent examinations of the coup attempt that has been going on by the deep-state — are you listening Leader McConnell ? Judiciary Chairman Graham?
