Barr ought to be investigating certain Senate Intelligence Committee members

  • . . .  and what does Mr. Barr think of this?

RUSSIAN MEDDLING FINDING IS AFFIRMED, Wall Street Journal,4/22/20,

“The U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help elect Donald Trump was accurate and based on strongly sourced information and sound analytical judgment, a bipartisan Senate report has concluded.”

“The Senate report portrays the intelligence agencies as scrupulously abiding by facts without bias and adhering to high professional standards. The 2017 intelligence assessment “presents a coherent and well-constructed intelligence basis for the case of unprecedented Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” the report concludes, adding that it found that intelligence analysts “were under no politically motivated pressure to reach specific conclusions” in the assessment and that normal protocols were followed.”

But then, it IS Senator Richard Burr who heads the “Intelligence” Committee, along with the minority member, Dem Senator Mark Warner. An investigation of either of these two would turn up things about them that are at least as unsavory as the implications in their Committee Report. Throughout this “investigation”, it was a question for us as to who was the minority member of the Committee and who was the Chairman.

We thought that Senator Burr, as a member of the the GOP Senate Majority should have exercised some modicum of leadership; instead he seemed to defer to Democrat Senator Warner, especially on the matters of Trump-Russia “collusion” and the Hillary email fiasco. We figured Burr was just incompetent and not very bright.

But we have since learned it was not that complicated; it was apparently just a matter of simple corruption…on the part of both Burr and Warner. Readers may recall from the past the issues that the following stories concerned:                   dlh

(excerpt)

– “Burr, (in) his position as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, received two confidential briefings in January in February. After being briefed, Burr warned a group of his political donors to prepare for the coronavirus and he sold $1.7 million in stock. https://www.politicususa.com/2020/03/30/richard-burr-fbi-investigation.html

-“If any other ordinary person in America did what Burr did, they would be looking at criminal charges and a prison sentence. Since Sen. Burr isn’t running for reelection, he appears to be trying to ride out the scandal in the hope that it blows over.
“An FBI investigation is a signal that this story is not going away anytime soon.”
