BO has dropped all pretense of being anything other than a wannabe (or “soontobe”) dictator. He has presented Congress with so many challenges to its constitutional authority, with new ones issued daily, Congressional Republicans seem unable to decide when and where “a line must be drawn”?
A new outrage is perpetrated even before the hapless Darrel Issa, has finished sending out subpoenas related to the last one. Should the line have been drawn with “Fast and Furious”? That outrage has virtually disappeared irretrievably in the public’s mind. It followed the various illegalities committed by Eric Holder…e.g. dropping charges against the new Black Panthers; the documented direction given to the JD that vote fraud committed by minorities will not be prosecuted; the Director’s proven perjury before Congress, etc
Then there was Solyndra, clearly big time payoff to fund raising supporters…arguably the clearest case of immoral crony capitalism an administration has ever committed in broad daylight; then there was the NLRB telling Companies where they can locate their facilities. Then there’s the ruling by the NLRB that circumvents Congress’ opposition to card check. Although most Americans and all of the mainstream press have forgotten, there was the outright theft of Chrysler bond holders’ rightful claims in order to give to the union their rewards for big contributions to BO’s election..
Oh, and you remember the Justice Dept deciding which laws passed by Congress and signed by presidents, unadjudicated, were “unconstitutional” and therefore Justice “chose” not to enforce: eg “Don’t ask..”, various immigration laws lawfully passed by states?. And, of course, the “non-recess, recess appointments”.
By November, BO may well declare that he does not wish to have an election and the Democrat Senate will “deem” that one’s not necessary because he would have won anyway. Certain “legal experts” will thoughtfully declare that that is within his and the Senate’s constitutional right to do so…and the press will report that their side of the “argument”has the strongest hand. Finally, BO will do what FDR failed to succeed in…he’ll pack the Court with 5 more “wise Latinas” or other radical leftist judges. Of course Mitch McConnell will send a very strongly worded letter opposing this action.( Months later McConnell will be jailed for inciting overthrow of the government and the first “reeducation camps” will open. LOL? Well, let’s wait and see. It really is serious folks. ).
Note:(But what can they do?, we must ask. Well, how about, “appropriations are withheld… this government will not function, except for its vital duties, until the legality and constitutionality of this President’s actions are examined by the Court on an expedited schedule.” Hopefully, the GOP delegation will be able to effectively articulate its position to the American people.)
