The Obama campaign highlighted the story of an Iowa woman Tuesday who said she receives her health insurance because of the Affordable Care Act and its provisions concerning pre-existing conditions. One problem: The woman is actually insured through a state program in place since 1987. Oh yes . . . and it is a program started and signed into law in 1987 during an earlier Bransatd administration.
The disingenuous presentation occurred as part of a political stop by First Lady Michelle Obama in Windor Heights, Iowa yesterday. Even the Des Moines Register reported . . . the QC Times ignored . DLH
