QCT — All The News that Fits Its Agenda

In its Friday edition,  the Quad Cities “newspaper of record” was characteristically aggressive in informing its readers on THE story on everyone’s mind these days…Mitt Romney’s alleged bullying of gay high school classmates.

With the nation’s attention riveted on this story , the Times devoted 10 column inches and a two column photo, above the fold on page A5, to the Associated Press’s account of the 50 year old saga broken earlier this week by the Washington Post.

Since the story broke, however, new information emerged which diminishes to some extent the sensational nature of the tale, including a statement by the family of the alleged victim of Mr. Romney’s inhumanity to his fellow man which suggests that the Washington Post, in its zeal to help President Obama, may have made journalistic fools of themselves.

Expose’s of the Post’s journalistic malpractice, are available here , here,  and here.

But, let’s wait and see how many column inches the ever vigilant QC Times devotes to the followup on this story.  DLH

One Response to QCT — All The News that Fits Its Agenda

So Obama comes out of the closet on Wednesday and on Thursday the Washington Post has a story that Romney bullied a gay kid 50 years ago. Looks like the media is back to working for the Obama campiagn. I don’t think they ever stopped actually.
