Attention Bishop Amos:
Did you really think giving ground in one area puts an end to the drive to inculcate the full agenda? You’ll want to be keeping up with the Funky Winkerbean comic strip for a couple more weeks as the QC Times continues its efforts to help you “evolve” your thoughts on the outmoded teachings and beliefs of the Catholic Church.
In its continuing effort to advance every aspect of the gay agenda, the executive editor, Jan Touney touted the Winkerbien strip to QCT readers in a May 4 column for its enlightened look at the LGBT movement in the nation’s schools. For its 4 week run on the topic, the Winkerbean strip is revolving around “two gay students attending prom at Westwood High.” Pay attention Bishop Amos. It may be coming to a ” peaceful High School” near you.
The occasion is noteworthy only in the extreme degree in which the Times is literally pulling out all the stops to promote the gay agenda in the QC. Regular and frequent news reports on any story related to the topic in any way; editorials lauding proponents and criticizing any who might have concerns, including Bishop Amos; comic strips and even columns by the editors touting comic strips which carry the rainbow banner. Clearly an effort to anticipate and shame recalcitrant religious troglodytes for not being on board with the Times “celebration” of certain political messages in its funny pages. It has long incorporated partisan spin in its so called news pages.
Look for some more awards from liberal newspaper associations to be coming the Times’ way.
