Can there be any doubt about the QC Times Editors? Not only do they demonstrate disrespect for professional tenets of objective journalism when it comes to President Obama, minimizing or not reporting on scandals, they disrespect their readership with the most dripping condescensions. This later “quality” is demonstrated in their call for “candid but kind” letters that they may offer as supplications in print to the Anointed One on his upcoming visit. They refer to Obama’s visits as a thrill, twice in the article. A benevolence bestowed on us thirteen times they fawn. Well when you are Obama and are guaranteed continued fawning coverage by the paper that was so torn by its love for you that they could barely contain there loyalty to Hillary Clinton, you pop in whenever you get a chance. Of course that Iowa remains a battle ground state in spite of the best efforts of the QC Times Editorial Board to keep it true blue for The One, has nothing to do with his itinerary of late. He really likes “The Quads.” Indeed our infamous Bridge to Nowhere could be a symbol for his administration . . . useless, overpriced and a haven for vandals.
