We’ve often called attention to Warren Buffett’s annoying hypocrisy and willingness to misrepresent facts in support of his favorite leftist politician. This story, though, is so unremarkable to anyone who’s followed these two mega rich, old socialists, it has become a joke that the press continues to lionize them.
Less attention given to this story, the better. I would only say that I will believe in the sincerity of these two multi billionaire geezers when they insure that their entire estates are subject to the estate tax they eagerly promote for the rubes. Instead they shield their massive fortunes from Obama’s bureaucrats by bequeathing them to tax exempt “charitable ” foundations of their choosing.

Before I buy into Buffet’s sincerity he will also have to call for inclusion of life insurance proceeds as part of any estate to be taxed. Because he has never done so, and given that his investment company has huge interests in insurance companies which sell their life insurance products as exempt from estate taxes under current law, his posturing is just another way to make money. He is as phoney as they come.
