Whittle (ing) Down The Presidential Loss

get-attachment-4Thanks to reader MVM for bringing this item to our attention. This speech by Bill Whittle, addressing the David Horowitz’s Restoration Weekend convocation  November 16, 2012, we think provides a very good analysis of why Republicans lost the presidency a second time in a row.  View the insightful video here.

Others may be more harsh regarding establishment picked candidates.  But Whittle makes the point that Mitt Romney was a good man and could have won but for a failure of both he and the establishment, and he was  the Republican establishment favored candidate for 2012, to communicate our own brand. The national campaign was intimidated, and shrunk from, or was trepidatious about defending our values and attacking the essentially corrosive values practiced by Obama and Democrats in general.  It has been our argument as well that the problem in November was not the mechanics of voter turnout, it was inspiring turnout.             R Mall

One Response to Whittle (ing) Down The Presidential Loss

Outstanding speech (seriously). But no mention of the starving children? The millions of homeless? The teachers who must work three jobs to make ends meet? The union members who are denied their God-given rights to collective bargaining and must resort to threats and violence for the common good. The speaker ignores the millions of people who come to America illegally for the opportunity…for free medical care, education, and, their right to vote for Democrats. Oh, the Humanity!
Fortunately our nation has a caring president…one who like his predecessor who gave up golf to honor military members and their families in time of war, has given up skeet shooting until every NFL team has a gay coach and a roster with equal numbers of women, minorities, gays and bisexuals. Rejoice Americans. Our Messiah is at hand!
