Scott County Republican Leadership A CLECish Group?

nicubunu_RPG_map_symbols_Circus_TentOr — perhaps better said  —  are they captured by  . . . or enamored with . . .  or dependent on CLECs.  And what the hell is meant by CLEC anyway??

CLEC is an acronym (an admonition really) introduced in a speech delivered by Pat Caddell, a Democrat pollster, at yesterday’s Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) convocation. We read about it in today’s Breibart and heard about it in today’s Rush Limbaugh radio program who, by the way, agreed with the thought.  The Breibart article is a must read, as is Caddell’s entire speech.

“The Republican Party, is in the grips of what I call the CLEC–the consultant, lobbyist, and  establishment complex.” Caddell described CLEC as a self serving interconnected network of individuals and organizations interested in preserving their own power far more than they’re interested in winning elections.”

Caddell also had much to say about our most recent disastrous loss to the Obamanation. We agree with every major point Caddell makes as regards the 2012 election and Romney’s campaign. We also could not help but relate his concepts to influential if not controlling elements within SCRCC leadership. Notice his description is not limited to or necessarily even imply direct remuneration.  The primary concept he references is power.

And so we ask  veritaspac readers knowledgeable of SCRCC workings to read Caddell’s speech and roll it around in their heads. Are there patsies and perps at work here?   Is our leadership of a nature . . . unburdened with strong convictions  . . . or at least any desire to exhibit them (for such “leaders” there is always a reason to be above the fray)  . . .  unafflicted with imagination . . .  perhaps desirous of good things  . . .  but maybe a bit too easily flattered . . .  and for all this perfect patsies for the CLEC?  Feel free to contact us by any means convenient.
