Benghazi Was Real, Is Lindsey Graham?

demand-91112-truth-now-battaile-politics-1351556062Of all the phony grandstanders who occupy important positions in
Washington, Lindsey Graham must be considered a top contender for the
title of “Phoniest of Them All”.

Lindsey is now attempting to reassume the role of Elliot Ness, the
courageous FBI agent who took on Al Capone and the Chicago mob, made
famous in the 1987 movie, “The Untouchables”.

Now Lindsey is back at his favorite stand, fighting the “Scarface
Obama” and the Chicago mob to get to the bottom of the Benghazi
scandal. Once again, the South Carolina Republican is going to do “all
I can” to get to the bottom of what happened.

Pardon me if I have just a tad of skepticism about both Senator
Graham’s effectiveness as well as his sincerity. Remember  Lindsey, not
so long ago, running all over Capitol Hill from one press conference to
another, telling the American people (but most of all, the voters of
South Carolina) that he was going to get to the bottom of the Benghazi
tragedy,

In fact, Lindsey was going to put a hold on the nomination of John
Brennan  to head the CIA until all of Graham’s questions about Benghazi
were answered.

We all saw how that worked out. He and the other GOP “reach across the
aisle” Senator, John McCain, after a week or so, decided enough time
had passed to allow the administration to answer those questions. They
then allowed the nomination to go forward even though no answers were
provided.

And, most interesting yet, “Elliott” Graham, in a snit over being
upstaged by Rand Paul’s filibuster, VOTED FOR BRENNAN’S CONFIRMATION.

Lindsey Graham is more like Les Nessman, the hapless and goofy “newsman” from the one time WKRP TV comedy show than Elliot Ness of the “Untouchables”. Tough talking Lindsey is best described as “quietly ineffective”, who never fails to fail.

  2. Roy Munson says:

What a sad and true piece. Linds is always in the media. He goes on every Sunday talk show every week and contradicts himself into a pretzel. Then he goes on the next talk show to respond about what he said on the previous one and this goes on over and over again.

Nobody in the media really cares too much because he is the quintessential McCain lapdog and they tolerate him in hopes that he will get all “mavericky” like his buddy and slime his own party. Basically when he is right about something the media doesn’t care because like this piece points out, he is a phony messenger and nobody believes him anyway. He just sucks up all the media time for everybody else who wants to get out their message and well, just plain sucks.

Side note: I had no idea Linds was only 57. He looks about 75.
