Absurd does not do our government justice. Full story from WND here.
“The U.S. Supreme Court is being asked to review a case that alleges the Environmental Protection Agency broke the rules in 2009 to describe carbon dioxide, which is essential for life, as a danger and through rules and regulations take control of the nation’s economy. ”

Even the United Nations has quietly admitted this. This is completely contrary to the CO2 caused global warming theory, which states that the earth’s temperature should be quickly rising because atmospheric CO2 is rising quickly. The UN and those who support the CO2 warming theory claim that the cooling is just a temporary glitch and earth’s temperature will began to rise again in a year or two. However. . . a majority of scientists now believe that we are in for a 15 to 35 year cooling cycle that has nothing to do with CO2 and everything to do with solar activity and temperature oscillations of the oceans.”
The WND article (which does not include the graph we have added) refers to a study by Dr. Linda M. Chappell and various other sources. Referring to the consequences of regulating greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act, that article states that 6.1 million (CO2) sources will be regulated creating new limits for everything that releases CO2, “from power plants, refineries and large industrial plants to cars.”
Furthermore, according to the report, the regulations will introduce “$78 billion in annual costs, causing ‘at least a decade or longer’ of permit delays, ‘slowing’ construction nationwide for years, ‘introducing burdens that are administratively ‘infeasible,’ ‘overwhelming,’ that will ‘adversely affect national economic development,’ while impacting sources ‘not appropriate at this point to even consider regulating.’”
And the net effect of the greenhouse gas regulations by EPA calculations . . . “Global mean temperature is estimated to be reduced by 0.006 to 0.015 degrees Celsius by 2100.”
The decimal places are correct. Accordingly, by the year 2100, “90 years worth of $78 billion per year in spending – a total of over $7 trillion – would have lowered the earth’s temperature infinitesimally.”
