President Obama Shows That He Has Grown in Office

Or is that the media has  grown more oblivious to his history?

“In this age of instant reporting and tweets and blogs, there’s a temptation to latch on to any bit of information, sometimes to jump to conclusions,” said President Obama, in the late evening of April 19, after Dzokhar Tsarnaev was captured alive in Watertown, Mass. “But when a tragedy like this happens, with public safety at risk and the stakes so high, it’s important that we do this right. That’s why we have investigations. That’s why we relentlessly gather the facts. That’s why we have courts. And that’s why we take care not to rush to judgment — not about the motivations of these individuals; certainly not about
entire groups of people.”

WHO said President Obama has not “grown” in office?

There was a time, maybe many voters recall, when our Dear Leader took to the media to acknowledge that while he did not know the facts surrounding the arrest of his Harvard professor buddy, he did know that the New Haven police “acted stupidly”.

See…now, our wise leader counsels us to resist the temptation to “jump to conclusions” and to “relentlessly gather the facts”.

Of course, cynics will conclude that Obama’s new found thirst for facts before reaching conclusions about the motivations of “individuals” like the two Muslims who used bombs to kill innocent Americans at the Boston Marathon last week, is because it destroys the narrative he has carefully constructed to convince us mopes that acts of terrorism are  really just the manifestation of the world’s view of America as the exploiter of the Earth’s poor. And that HE has, early in his administration, won the “war on terror”.       DLH
