This is the GOP’s “Great Hispanic Hope”? The effort to defund Obamacare must be a dead issue in the view of the Democrats and the Establishment Republican leadership ( we hope to prove them wrong).
By joining Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in their effort to defund Obamacare, Marco Rubio, Chuck Schumer’s NBF (new best friend) hopes to regain the affection of conservatives that he lost with his shuckin’ and jivin’ in promoting the Amnesty bill. That would seem to be the operative explanation for the obvious permission given to Marco Rubio, oldest adolescent in the U S Senate, to oppose the Establishment in support of defunding Obamacare.
Unfortunately for him, though, the Schumer/Rove forces have apparently felt it necessary to summon Marco back to service, highlighting him again, in order to shove their Immigration Bill up the…er, through the House.
Also, unfortunately, our young former Tea Party favorite doesn’t seem to quite be up to the task for an encore performance. He doesn’t make any sense with his latest plea for support of the Schumer/ McCain Travesty.
“If we don’t give President Obama legal cover to do what he wants to, he will do it anyway,” seems to be Rubio’s message to opponents of the Senate’s proposed immigration reform legislation.
Wow! And this is a US Senator and purported conservative leader?!
