On this day let us all commemorate the victims of 9-11.

One year ago this day the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya was attacked and four Americans including our ambassador were killed. May there be transparency and justice regarding the victims.

But we celebrate that in D.C today:
Muslim rally vastly outnumbered by bikers, counterprotesters

We also celebrate a huge victory in Colorado for grassroots activists . . .
in support of Second Amendment rights over lavishly funded liberal gun-control interests.
From the Wall Street Journal:
“state Senate President John Morse and state Sen. Angela Giron, were ousted in recall elections. Both Democratic lawmakers had played key roles in helping the state pass stricter gun laws . . . “While both sides campaigned vigorously, knocking on doors, holding rallies and driving voters to the polls, gun-control advocates far outspent their opponents,” reports the New York Times. “A range of philanthropists, liberal political groups, unions and activists raised a total of $3 million to defend Mr. Morse and Ms. Giron.

Hmmmm . . . is this list available to everyone?
Joni Ernst, candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate (Iowa) has been sending frequent e-mails promoting her candidacy. What may be of note is the list source currently being used.
Note the disclaimer on at least the last two e-mail support solicitations:

Politicos will wonder if this is an inside track thing. Regardless we are very pleased with the generally conservative nature of the announced candidates.

Day six of counterfeit post on Scott County Republican Website.
Perhaps too lazy to post their own PR, but otherwise definitely oblivious to the import of what they did post, to this day an article from the Quad City Times by Ed Tibbitts appears unattributed on the SCRCC Website. Discourtesy, plagiarism, whatever, given the implications of what the article tells us about Scott Brown’s cluelessness, one would think that the SCRCC leadership would definitely not want an article exposing the lamebrainess of their pick assumed to be written by them. Mix and match the SCRCC article and the QC Times article. More about Scott Brown and the SCRCC decision to pick him here and here.

Notes from the SCRCC Meeting In Days Ahead —
Well a lot sooner than you will ever see minutes from the meeting. Also comments about good governance and the arrogance of the SCRCC leadership.
