Video Presentations

Screen shot 2013-10-25 at 1.43.21 PMThis site has been perhaps 99% the text and still graphics variety of blog presentation.  Video expose’s are occasionally referred to but we prefer to set forth written commentary and chronicles. We have noticed more and more that news and commentary sites have taken to video presentations for which no transcript is available. The Wall Street Journal and National Review Online are but two of the big dogs.  It has become a pet peeve of ours.

Often it is compelling subject matter but we are not allowed the luxury of the extra time to watch, or the patience to do so, when we can often read for comprehension faster than we can listen. A prepared text means not only that the note taking is already done for you, side notes and annotations are much more understandable as context is already provided.  Transcripts provide the record and allow thought processes without losing place.

But for original documentation video evidence honestly presented in context is often necessary, compelling, definitive a.k.a, dead-to-rights.  And we also understand that some people prefer video more than that boring typed stuff for education presentations. Humor and pathos are more readily achieved as well.

So we have thought it appropriate to create a Category at right which will be a repository for video links documenting, exposing and educating, and perhaps humoring. The subject matter will also continue to be cross categorized according to the current list.  But don’t worry that we are inclined to substantially go video. As they say, we have the face for radio but not the voice.

To start off, here are some “in their own words” exposes and commentaries / advocacy video links.  Most are under ten minutes. Try to catch a few.

Duplicitous Democrats expose themselves on video:

Note: these are not videos of Anthony Weiner or anyone else’s

Harry Reid when he thought raising the debt was a horrible idea.                  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELkbDdPeL7I&feature=youtu.be

Barack Obama thought raising the debt was a bad idea too                                                           http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fUmFBMVWNI

65 Outrageous Lies of President Obama (his words captured on video, the truth now known) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg9m1F8B2_c

The depth of Obama’s ignorance exposed:

Obama Mocks the Bible, and shows profound ignorance of Christian precepts. It is an incredible speech . . . devoid of any understanding of the New Testament as  fulfillment of the Old . . . that with Jesus came the New Covenant.                                                          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi-V_ilJu0w

Educational and advocacy:

Heritage explains the debt limit:                                                                       http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no21PgET3Co

Bill Whittle of PJ Media explains some of the problems with Common Core.  One can arrive at the meat of the presentation at the five minute mark.  Whittle has done many effective video commentaries and his site should be referred to often.  http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&load=9023&mpid=56

Chris Matthews is still an idiot . . .

with occasional fits of candid insight  . . . expressing consternation about Obama.                 http://www.youtube.com/embed/S_XCZqDOgd4?rel=0
