Vote Today – And Don’t Forget The Round Oval for Write-ins

voting-box-mdPolls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Generally speaking vote at your regular precinct voting location.  If you have any questions about procedures or where to vote visit the Scott County Auditors’s Election Central page and you should be able to find whatever you need to know.  These municipal elections are theoretically non-partisan.  However, as to who to vote for, when a Republican is on the ballot, we encourage you to vote Republican. In order to determine candidate affiliation (party affiliations are not listed  on the municipal ballots) please refer to this link and find your city’s candidates. We also have some recommendations for select races where Republicans are not on the ballot, or more than one is.

Mayor of Davenport — write-in  Phillip C. Yerington. Print or legibly write his name in the appropriate blank space and completely fill in the oval next to the name. If you do not fill in the oval opposite the name you have written on the ballot, your write-in vote cannot be counted.  Do not darken more than one oval for the mayoral race.

Davenport At Large (four on the ballot, vote for two)  – Dale Gilmour and one other Republican, Meeker or Gordon.  Perkins is a Democrat

Blue Grass Mayor — Tim Brandenburg
