NSA  and 4th Amendment privacy protections.

Resolved,; Whereas millions of Americans have been outraged to learn that the National Security Agency (NSA) has been vacuuming up their phone, text and email records, and; Whereas the NSA’s phone-trawling program has not protected the country from a single terrorist attack in over a decade after its implementation under the Patriot Act, and;   Whereas, the president’s “reform” plan putting all the data in private hands will make the situation even worse; The metadata collection of  American citizens activities is an unreasonable search and seizure and should be ended as a violation of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.

Resolved, The state of Iowa and its subdivisions should be prohibited from providing material support, participation, services or assistance in any form to any federal agency…that searches, seizes, or intercepts an electronic communication of an American citizen without a warrant that particularly describes the person, place, and thing to be searched, seized, or intercepted.
