Once again, American taxpayers are the wind beneath Michelle Obama’s wings – this time flying her to China, along with every female member of her immediate family except Barack.
Theoretically, this is a Spring Break trip for the Obama girls, Sushi and Malaria, which will allow them to learn about China. Although so far, it sounds like the main thing they’ve learned is that hotel rooms in China cost $8000 a night, but the working class chumps back home will be picking up the tab.

Too Pricy For VP, But OK For FLOTUS?
First ladies take overseas trips and often make outstanding representatives for the country. Inevitably it costs money. How much is the question. USA Today reports that Mrs. Obama is staying in the Presidential Suite at the “5-star Westin Hotel” in Beijing.
That’s odd because the Westin was reportedly too expensive for Vice President Joe Biden’s trip last December. That was a good call. But at $8,400 a night, how did it suddenly become affordable for the First Lady?
The Obamas love to berate the “one percent” of wealthy Americans, but they love living like the 1% with money taken from hardworking, middle-class families.
Speaking of China, Nancy Reagan was raked over the coals when she wanted to replace the White House china, which had not been updated since the Johnson Administration. The media blasted the Reagan White House for being out of touch.
But not this president, and not this first lady. I don’t know who should be more ashamed of themselves — the Obamas for so brashly wasting taxpayer money? Or the lapdog media and its many members who still call themselves “journalists.”
A few “legitimate” mainstream media critics got in on one aspect of the FLOTUS trip. First lady Michelle Obama told students that freedom of speech should be a universal right during her extravagant, no-press-allowed tour of China — a hypocritical move that will surely draw the ire of critics, . . .
Several sources reported that otherwise ubiquitous availability of ObamaMao tee shirts were hustled out of site whenever FLOTUS and her blossoms were about. Jarlsberg engaged a translator, which sort of explains why. Apparently the joke was on more than Michelle. By the way, did you know that tee shirts made and purchased in China do not say “made in China?” They don’t say anything about origin. We guess it is assumed.
