America: The Movie

AmericaFlyer-LibertyAmerica: The Movie —  We saw it last night and highly recommend it. Written and produced (with others) and narrated by Dinesh D’Souza’s it presents an antidote of balanced historic analysis to the corruptions of history that have metastasized in influence on American social policy.   Every parent should require their high school and college children to see it — or pay no allowance or tuition. The movie will help inoculate them as it provides us elders with historic analogies to counter the assumptions behind so much of the current “history” that affects political policy decisions.

A focus of the movie includes the left’s favorite historian Howard Zinn and his book,           A Peoples History of the United States.  D’Souza identifies themes that liberals use to beat up on America. These include the treatment of the American Indian –  slavery – Mexico – capitalism – conquest.  In the time available D’Souza effectively puts the topics in perspective and world historical context. There is also a section dealing with Saul Alinsky which speaks to the implications of a Hillary Clinton presidency. The movie has much to offer.
