CDC’s Prepared for Zombies but not Ebola

In an e-mail from David Hartsuch M.D., emergency room physician:

The CDC thus far has only considered “standard contact precautions” as necessary.
Their instructions for health workers showing “standard contact precautions” has been taken off their website but their mantra is still “standard contact precautions”.
Key problem now is the N95 mask which is not a “respirator” but rather a mask which does not filter out particles less than 5 microns which are the culprit in the transmission of Ebola.
I think that the CDC has been too busy preparing for the Zombie apocalypse:

Yes! this is the CDC website. And yes they will give us a free Zombie preparedness kit to educators so that we can teach this to kids.  Look at what they say about a possible Zombie scenario:

I only wish the CDC had that kind of fore site with regard to Ebola.

So potentially bringing the disease to transportation hubs makes sense.  That will surely limit it.
