That he was part of it at all is very disturbing
According to this story in the LA Times Jeb Bush is clearing the slate for his expected run for the Republican nomination for President:
And on Wednesday, Bush resigned from the board of directors of Tenet Healthcare Corp., also effective Dec. 31, according to a corporate filing. The Dallas-based company actively supported the 2010 Affordable Care Act, and has seen its revenue rise from it, an issue that could draw fire in Republican primaries.
Bush earned cash and stock awards worth nearly $300,000 from Tenet in 2013, according to corporate filings. He also sold Tenet stock worth $1.1 million that year, the records show.
“Mr. Bush is not resigning on account of any disagreement with Tenet,” the company said.
The thing is we believe Tenet. Obamacare was passed in 2010. Bush has been a member of the board of Tenet since April 2007. So they were pushing for it while he was a member of the board of directors. We have known much of the sequelae of Obamacare for four years. Does anybody honestly know one person that supports or would caucus for Jeb in Iowa? I have yet to meet one. I just don’t see him as a serious candidate. Serious as in attracting any votes or support to actually win anything. Of course the media will tell us just how serious he is over and over again though which is troubling.
Not only that I can’t imagine another Bush run White House (maybe his son George P in like 25 years). Every day they sat back and let the Lib media and Democrats have open season on them and never fought back. Every day was “face palm” day watching these people operate.
Say what you want about the Obummer regime, at least they come back firing when they are attacked. Maybe a Jeb White House would be different but I doubt it. Hell as squishy as Christie is at least we know he wouldn’t take it laying down from these people.
