Jeb Bush on the Loretta Lynch nomination

th-4I may have once  said I thought Jeb would wind up seeking the Democrat nomination for president? (If not, I should have.) The race between Jeb and Hillary is definitely now on…for the nomination.

Jeb Bush Says Senate Should Confirm Loretta Lynch

“The longer it takes to confirm her, the longer Eric Holder stays as Attorney General,” Bush added, sending a signal to Republicans to lift their opposition to Lynch was only elongating the tenure of someone they like even less. “Look at it that way.”

He does not get it. Loretta Lynch is at least as bad as Holder.  She has openly exposed her Constitutional shortcomings and Presidential sycophancy prior to the nomination. So by Jeb the whole “advice and CONSENT” thing in the Constitution is really “posture and rubber stamp?” And if a Supreme Court Justice vacancy occurred Jeb would do what as a Senator?

His processing of this matter is not noble or fair minded — it is enabling.

Turning the tables on a Rovian tactic of the type he would use against conservatives, “Jeb Bush is showing Republicans how much he agrees with Obama on Executive amnesty for illegal immigrants” —  a policy Lynch has said she supports and will work to see implemented.  We see it as pledging all loyalty to Obama and not the Constitution. One Response to Jeb Bush on the Loretta Lynch nomination

  1. Carlos Danger says:

I did like how he proceeded to go into how Holder has “politicized” and basically misused his position though. I would have liked to have heard a follow up question from one of the reporters about what he plans on doing about that if he were to be elected. But I get it, the lame stream is completely uninterested in Holder’s crimes.

I get the feeling these candidates all talked about this and all agreed wasting political capital on Lynch is worthless when you have a golden goose like Holder. They get to remind the nation for 18 months about his shadow “injustice” system and how big of a criminal he is.

My new GOP candidate litmus test for this is the candidate must say everything is on the table for Holder when they take power. Especially spending time in the pokey. And again, it sounds like Jeb would have gone down that road if asked a follow up question.
