The “Occam’s Razor” of global disaster cause theories

Don’t need an Archduke Ferdinand for this one.

“Yet another theory is that Iran wants to force a confrontation with Saudi Arabia that it believes it will win, because Iran views the Saudi military as weak and suspects the U.S. lacks the willpower to support its Gulf ally.”

Even “low information folks” know that when there are competing theories for the cause of an event having dire consequences for the world, the one that suggests that it might be  due to suspicions that “the US lacks the will to support.. (an).. ally”,  that’s the one to put your money on.

    Roger..
    This may be the point of no return.
    If the Sunnies unite, and if Israel helps. It could be the end of Theocracy in Iran.
    Perhaps the US should stand back and let Islam settle its own differences.
