Pathos News

In a post a few days ago we lamented that this week and next would be momentous. The Pope’s climate encyclical has been released, and is as bad or worse than we conceived it would be. Another trade vote took place in the House today and TPA fast track won again. So Obamatrade is still alive. Revelations regarding what is in TPP and other trade related legislation continues to distress. Iran’s nuclear weapons program continues unabated under the incompetency of Obama’s foreign policy. Another Supreme Court decision regarding Obamacare is due next week with the potential to upend it. We have no confidence that the SCOTUS will do that but even if it does, who can be confident that Republican leadership will not opt to save it and thereby own it?  In spite of it all we still retain small embers of hope.

Many articles will be written today and in coming weeks by conservative pundits and other writers of note.  What follows are some that we reviewed and that you may find informative about what is transpiring.
