The issue isn’t the issue. The issue is always the revolution. And the Obama flavor of revolution is about demonstrating that even the most radical and unpopular policies can be rammed through in defiance of Congress, the Supreme Court and the people through sheer determination. Like the Cultural Revolution, this is as much about a show of power as about any of the actual issues at stake.
From Day 1, Obama has been obsessed with demonstrating that every White House Democrat before him was a weak coward for ever compromising with the other two branches of government. At the top of his legacy of mass political destruction is this demonstration that the will to power is all that matters.
To explain the actions and behavior of Barack Obama any other way is simply an understandable refusal by most Americans to acknowledge the unthinkable…that the citizens of the free-est, most tolerant, most successful “experiment” in true free and democratic government elected this man to lead it, twice.
“Legacy” is the kindest (and most inaccurate, misleading) way to describe President Obama’s otherwise dishonest, incompetent, deceitful, vindictive, petulant, dangerous, illegal, unconstitutional, and, in the final analysis, anti-American leadership.
It is incomprehensible to average Americans, even to perceptive, insightful analysts of human behavior and the political mind that a national leader would deliberately alienate his country’s allies and enrich its worst enemies.
It is unimaginable that a leader upon whom every blessing this nation has to bestow on a citizen…an education from the most elite schools, freedom to explore and attain his greatest potential, and to achieve the ultimate prize only 43 other people have ever been privileged to attain, president of the nation which has served for over two centuries as a beacon of freedom and hope for the entire world, could so detest that nation, he would exert every effort to destroy its very essence.
How else to explain:
- during a time in which America and the world faces perhaps its most dire threats to peace and stability in history, America’s president would seek to drastically diminish the world’s greatest military force for defeating evil and assuring national security
- would have so corrupted the armed forces by forcing out in various ways some 200 of the military’s senior officers and most accomplished warriors, replacing them with mere toadies, willing to please the C-in-C to advance their careers or by not resisting even the most damaging, incoherent decisions and actions of superiors, simply to preserve their careers.
- would essentially open the country’s borders to anyone, whether they enter for good or evil purpose, and provide any and all benefits and privileges heretofore provided only to its citizens?
- Seems to expend prodigious effort to protect and support many of the world’s tyrants and terrorist entities; i.e.. the Muslim Brotherhood, strongly supported by Obama following the Arab Spring. So oppressive that the MB was thrown out of office in a military and civilian uprising. Negotiates an unconstitutional deal with Iran (see next point); intervenes on behalf of PLA andPLO in terrorist case.
- would negotiate an unconscionable “agreement” with one of America’s bitterest enemies, one of the world’s biggest supporters of terrorism, in defiance of constitutional intent and disregard for congress’s authority,
- combine his party’s traditional strategy of race baiting with a contemptible defense of potential vote fraud to produce an electorate corrupted by the influx of millions of illegal aliens, granted protections unavailable to citizens and provided with all the means necessary (driver’s licenses, faux social security numbers, etc) to enable voting in US elections in defiance of laws prohibiting vote fraud.

Rush is wrong on Obama’s ‘legacy’ interest in a nuclear Iran
Rush has been arguing lately that Obama is pushing the Iran deal as his “legacy.” Rush doesn’t get our truly anti-American president. “Legacy” makes it sound as if Obama thinks the Iran deal is a positive accomplishment. As if Obama believes his own speeches that it will stop a nuclear Iran, make the mullahs like us, and promote peace in the Middle East. This is the school of thought that sees Obama as naïve or inept, but not evil.
To understand the true nature of the legacy President Obama is aiming for, we need only go back to the full quote of “God damn America” from Obama’s spiritual guide and mentor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme. We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.
Imagine if the Reverend Wright and his acolyte, Obama, could have waved a magic wand and brought more of those chickens home to roost, by arming our worst enemy in the world with nuclear weapons. That would teach a lesson about Hiroshima. That would rebuke us for backing Israel instead of the savage Palestinian terrorists.

Senator Cruz is right when he says that by giving Iran $120 billion in sequestered funds, Obama will make himself “the world’s leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism.”
Given the size of Iran’s economy, that would be like handing America 1.7 trillion dollars.
Obama has already handed the mullahs almost $12 billion this summer, to prove his good intentions to Iran. That’s already four times our annual military aid to Israel. It is sixty times what Iran is spending annually to fund Hezb’allah, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Syria’s Bashar Assad. Just think what mayhem they can accomplish with an extra $100 billion.
Obama’s answer to Senator Cruz? “This is Iran’s money.”
Iran’s money, Iran’s right to spend it on terrorism, and God damn America.
