Who will save America from this Captain Queeg?

Another excellent column by Clarice Feldman reinforces the rapidly becoming obvious reality that Barack Obama is seriously mentally, emotionally, and intellectually unbalanced.   No Coherent Identityitis

Recent events are undeniably starting to reveal what many Americans have long suspected but most national leaders have been unwilling to acknowledge: Barack Obama is an unstable, dangerous man. And, because of the position he occupies as the president of the world’s greatest, if only democratic, free superpower, he has the capability to wreak global calamity of biblical proportions.

This past week has forcefully brought to the fore this reality…and with more than a year remaining in his presidency, the further disasters he will most certainly bring about must be recognized and dealt with.

Screen shot 2015-10-04 at 4.09.05 PMOver a 7 day period, America and the world witnessed the president of the greatest nation on earth and putative leader of the free world humiliated by an ambitious dictator, exposed as incredibly incompetent foreign policy strategist, and a vindictive, petty , narcissistic, delusional, unbalanced individual, incapable of rational decision making and unwillingness to accept that fact. And all was publicly and scarily revealed in an almost hysterical press conference at week’s end.

The question is, will there be anyone, or any credible legislative body, with the courage and the appropriate skills and ability to lead the necessary action to remove President Obama from office, before the now imminent threat to America and the entire world becomes a reality?

In the fictional story of the Caine Mutiny, the ship’s executive officer, Lt. Steve Maryk takes arguable legal action against the ship’s dangerously unstable Capt., Lt. Cmdr. Francis Queeg, in order to save the ship and its crew from almost certain disaster.

While his action did save the ship, Lt. Maryk was tried by court-martial, not for mutiny, but for “conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline”. Although he was acquitted, his naval career was effectively destroyed.

And such is often the price that a good man pays for doing the right and moral thing in a world of contentious power-seeking as we see today in our federal government.

Again, the question, who is willing to risk the price to save our country and perhaps the planet? Who will save America from our Captain Queeg? DLH
