It’s been fun and in several respects you’ve played a useful role. You introduced into the presidential race the topic of illegal immigration in terms that neither party establishment wanted the subject discussed and debated. For that alone the nation owes you a small debt of gratitude.. You’ve exposed the press’s arrogant belief that they, rather than voters, actually control who the political parties will have as candidates for the nomination.
But, while it’s been fun, Donald, you’ve now had your 15 minutes of attention and your shtick is now not only it’s wildly non- politically correct self, but it has also grown tiresome and inane and plain old nasty.
So, Donald, it’s been interesting while it lasted, but as one of many who believed you added something to the 2016 presidential race, we are now one of many who wish you well…and gone!

Oh, and did I mention Thom Tillis? Or–rin Hatch? Or maybe even Iowa GOP’S own, Chuck Grassley? The NY Times notes that Chuck’s up for reelection and you know there’s nothing Republicans fear more than the Times calling them “obstructionists”.
