The reliable mouthpiece for the GOPe comes through with a typically pompous column to lead us all to a single proper conclusion. The Republic and the capitalist system will not survive without the guidance and leadership of a very wise (Washington knows best) “consrvative’, like…oh, I don’t know…maybe a Paul Ryan.
Author Stelzer dismisses with a prostituted caricatures conservatives like Ted Cruz who are trying to save (restore) not only our market economy but its essential progenitor our constitutional republic, oh, and our culture, against the Washington establishment and the likes of Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Mr. Selzer understanding of conservatism, republicanism, or for that matter capitalism, are skewed.
