We may have missed it but does anyone know what night JEB Bush will speak at the Democratic convention next week?
Any truth to the rumor that all of the Bushes will attend the convention? Does “Poppy” (GHWB), “the father (Bill Clinton) never had”, intend to announce his endorsement of his “stepson’s” wife for president?
And, surely, GW will say a few words on behalf of his “brother by another mother”, as he has referred to Bill.
If any one is thinking that the Bushes are acting like cry babies and sore losers about the Trump nomination, they have forgotten just how tight the family is with the Clintons.
GHW and Bill Clinton have been big ‘buds’ since even before they joined together to “save” Haiti after the devastating earthquakes. We wonder if, as they sit around sipping cocktails following Hillary’s clinching of the Democratic nomination, the Bushes will bring up the question about where all that money went that “Poppy” and Bill raised. Wonder if either George asks the “black sheep son”, as Barbara calls the Democrat presidential candidate’s husband, how that Clinton Foundation’s other “work’ is going.
As they toast Hillary’s accomplishment, will JEB recall all that ‘public service’ he lauded Hillary for in presenting the National Constitution Center’s “Liberty Medal” to her in 2013, one day before the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack.

Jeb Bush Awards Hillary Clinton Liberty Medal (CBS)
“Hillary and I come from different political parties and we disagree about lots of things. But we do agree on the wisdom of the American people — especially those in Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina,” Bush joked, referring to the three states that have traditionally played pivotal roles in presidential campaigns. Bush mused that Clinton was visiting Des Moines, Iowa, next week. “Now, don’t actually wear the medal there, Madam Secretary.”

Clinton playfully joked that the two ex-presidents are “let’s face it, the classic odd couple of American politics.” She said the duo “just had one of their annual play dates up in Kennebunkport,” at the Bush family compound in Maine.
“Jeb and I are not just renewing an American tradition of bipartisanship. We’re keeping up a family tradition as well,” Clinton said.
Jeb Bush Presented Award to Hillary Clinton (Punching Bag)
The award and gushing remarks given by Bush were particularly odd, given that the events in Benghazi – where 4 Americans died under Clinton’s watch as Secretary of state – had occurred almost exactly one year prior to this medal ceremony. “I want to say thank you to both Secretary Clinton and to President Clinton, thank you for your service to our country,” Jeb Bush says in the video.

Many Republican strategists fear such a video will be problematic if Bush is to face off against Hillary in a general election. “Anytime Jeb calls Hillary ‘Obama 2.0,’ any criticism he makes of her awful record as secretary of state, any time he shows how much of an extremist she is on the issues, will be completely dismissed when she reminds everyone that he gave her an award for public service,” said ForAmerica Chairman Brent Bozell.
Barbara Bush gushes about Bill Clinton, says he treats George H. W. Bush like a father (NY Daily News)
Bill Clinton may have forced her husband out of office – but Barbara Bush still considers him family.
The former First Lady lavished praise on the man who defeated George H.W. Bush in 1992, lovingly saying that Clinton is “a good fellow” who is “very thoughtful about calling.”
“He never said a mean word about anyone,” she said in an interview with Parade Magazine set to appear this weekend.
She even revealed that her sons – including, of course, George W. Bush, who followed Clinton into the Oval Office – call him “My brother by another mother.”
“He’s very nice,” Barbara Bush continued. “I think she thinks of George [Sr.] as the father he never had.”

The other Bush siblings have also taken a shine to Clinton.
*George W. Bush has said he and his predecessor are “buddies” while Jeb Bush declared that the family is very “fond” of him.
“He’s been incredibly gracious to our dad,” said the former Florida governor. “And if somebody is gracious to our father – he ingratiates himself to us.”

So the vilification during the campaigns by Bill toward “Poppy” and on behalf of Hillary in 2008 towards Pappy and “W” are love pats, never mind the Clinton’s goal of undoing their policies, as weak as most were. One wonders then why the upset with Trump and Cruz, expecially Trump, what he called them names, be castigted their policies, as if Clinton didn’t out of every side of his mouth? And the Bush snideness toward Cruz who worked for W? Another political abandonment by the Bush’s of the party that fought for them. R Mall
