Guess we’ll see just who’s on whose side

imageedit_2_5851558875Will Paul Ryan disavow his old buddy Luis Gutierrez?

Will Lindsey Graham support Jeff Session’s nomination?

When reaching across the aisle to Gutierrez, at least wear gloves

Folks should remember Gutierrez was side by side with Paul Ryan re: illegal immigration amnesty; he touted Ryan for Speaker because of Ryan’s position on it!  Ryan reveled in such across-the-aisle plaudits, basking in such indications of his high moral caliber.

Now Ryan’s same insightful colleague expounds on Jeff Sessions: (via Washington Examiner)

Dem lawmaker says Sessions would drag the country back to dark times

A Democratic lawmaker is slamming the selection of Sen. Jeff Sessions as President-elect Trump’s attorney general by going so far as to argue the Alabama senator would drag the United States back into the days of rampant racism and suppression of minorities.

In a blistering statement about a fellow lawmaker, Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez seemed to use the Republican’s full name — Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III — in an attempt to invoke Confederacy imagery.

“If you have nostalgia for the days when blacks kept quiet, gays were in the closet, immigrants were invisible and women stayed in the kitchen, Sen. Jefferson Beauregard Sessions is your man,” Gutierrez said.

In happier times for Luis Vicente Guitierrez, with a Democrat President allowing tens of thousands of illegal immigrants in every year and signing them up for dependency benefits in anticipation of their amnesty and Democrat party membership, he had this to say:

“He (Ryan) would be good for the country. He would be good for the Republican Party. Paul Ryan is the kind of individual that would work with people on the other side of the aisle and that’s what we need.”

And what about Lindsey

Will he hop on board the nomination for Jeff Sessions for AG as he did for Loretta Lynch, showing him that kind of enthusiasm or will he take the “middle road” and have some scolds for Jefferson Beauregard Sessions?   Will he defend his Senate colleague from South Carolina from such scurrilous attacks from across the aisle?

Why you might not want to actually reach across the aisle and hold hands with Gutierrez

This is the same Congressman Luis Vicente Gutierrez who worked hard for Hillary Clinton to, as he said: make sure they (GOP) keep their dirty, filthy hands off of Planned Parenthood and we don’t have somebody on the Supreme Court that’s going to turn the clock around.’

The “filthy hands” imagery is appropriate, but comes into play when you touch the likes of Planned Parenthood and its supporters, like Gutierrez.  Regarding filthy hands:

Florida inspectors cite four Planned Parenthood clinics for violations

Inspections Catch South Carolina Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic Breaking State Law

Ohio Abortion Clinic Fined $25K For Shocking Health And Sanitation Violations

Here is how bloody Gutierrez’s hands are in his support of Planned Parenthood and their ilk.  His pro-abortion extremism includes voting to protect partial-birth abortions; voting no on barring transporting minors to get an abortion across state lines without parental permission; voting no on making it a crime to harm a fetus during commission of another crime, (vote record summary here).

Gutierrez’s extremism is notorious enough that Bishop Joe Stephen Vasquez of Austin, Texas stopped the Illinois congressman from using diocesan facilities to preach his immigration amnesty advocacy even though the Catholic bishops are on board with it.  Bishop Vasquez has his priorities straight, including as regards who are true friends of Hispanics, given that Gutierrez is a champion of Planned Parenthood the nation’s largest abortion syndicate, which targets minorities.
