This had better be a joke

So, what is behind these stories leaking, no pouring, from the Trump transition process?

We’re not going to know until it is all settled out, obviously. But it does make for great news coverage! Not really.

The mass of voters for Trump are buoyant with a disclosure, maybe Giulianni for AG, or maybe Newt for State.

But then, Ben Carson declines any post in the administration…bummer. Then Ted Cruz arrives at Trump Tower. A possible Attorney General? Happiness reigns!

Oops, then who shows up at the Tower?  Kelly Ayotte…yuk!

But wait! How about Tom Cotton, Duncan Hunter…in the running for Sec Def?! Great!

imageedit_5_5253702178Then…Romney rumored to be Secretary of State pick! Whaaat!

As most of us who went with Trump when our first choice folded, we knew he was a wild card…but we also knew what a Hillary Clinton was, and is. That choice was clear. Mitt could not see a difference.

Now we must wait…and ignore the media rumors, predictions, and even ‘told you so’s’.

By New Year’s Eve we’ll probably have a pretty good idea of what we bought…but even then, if I don’t like it, I probably won’t go out and burn down the nearest 7-11.

TRUMP SET TO NAME GLENN BECK SEC. OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES? KASICH FOR SEC DEF?

Sure, Why Not, if you can Have Mitt for Sec. of State (Maybe Trump can Convince Kerry To Stay On)? Bring ’em all in.

Mitt Romney after all the talk of draining the swamp? After his refusal to endorse Trump against Hillary? It’s not funny; if not intended to be funny, I’ll join the “protesters! Even “consideration” is a vile and traitorous gesture.  Feeding the swamps denizens is not necessary.

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will meet with Donald Trump this weekend to discuss the secretary of state position, a source close to the president-elect with direct knowledge of his thinking told NBC News.

In March, the former Massachusetts governor called Trump “a phony” and “a fraud” when discussing the then-candidate. Trump has called Romney a loser and has said he “choked like a dog” during his 2012 presidential campaign against President Barack Obama.

Others reportedly under consideration for the secretary of state position include former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

Trump endorsed Romney during his presidential bid four years ago. Last week after the election, Romney called Trump to congratulate him on his surprise win.

This story is developing. Please check back for further updates.
