US Participation in the United Nations – The Sanction of the Victim

I’ve long suspected that the United Nations thinks it’s God. Last week’s Security Council resolution makes it official. In Genesis, God gave Israel – all of it – to the Jewish people in perpetuity. Now the UN says Jews aren’t allowed to live in Biblical Israel (the West Bank to the media and other historical illiterates).
The measure calls Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria illegal “settlements.” Based on nothing more than its own entrenched bias – and the insistence of the wonderful world of Islam – the UN says that Jews living in the land where the patriarchs and prophets walked are an impediment to a mythical peace process. In fact, they’re an impediment to plans to use a future Palestinian state as a staging area for a final assault on what’s left of Israel.
Among the real estate reserved for “Palestine” is the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and Judaism’s holiest site, the Western Wall. Why not give ISIS St. Peter’s Basilica while they’re at it?
With over a million casualties of the never-ending war in Syria, with Iran regularly threatening a nuclear holocaust, with North Korean labor camps, with Christians ethnically cleansed from the cradle of Christianity, and with terrorism a growing worldwide menace, the organization established to ease international tensions has focused on the “settlements” (communities with homes, schools, businesses and synagogues) as the greatest threat to international stability. Go figure.
This makes sense only if you know the nature of the beast. The UN is a thugocracy which advances evil with the solemnity only diplomats can muster.
Its obsession with Israel is legendary. In the first nine years of its existence, the UN Human Rights Council issued 61 condemnations of the only nation in the Middle East that respects human rights and 55 of all other countries combined – including those that engage in the wholesale slaughter of civilians, sentence innocents to death for “blasphemy,” and put guns in the hands of children in pursuit of demented visions of how humanity should be ordered.
Aside from its anti-Israel jihad, the United Nations is engaged in a far-reaching Orwellian project to remake humanity, financed by U.S. taxpayers, who cover 22% its budget.
On November 1, the creature from Turtle Bay established an “Independent Expert on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI).” “Sexual orientation” and “gender identity” are concepts based on ideology, not biology.
Called its new LGBT czar, the goals of the first occupant of that office (a Thai professor named Vitit Muntarbhorn) include: “recognizing LGBT status” (conferring minority status based not on race or religion but on what those so designated do with their non-reproductive organs), “clarifying misconceptions and misinterpretations” (having revised Genesis, the UN is in the process of editing Leviticus) and “integrating gender-and-sexual diversity and teaching empathy from childhood onward” (brainwashing).
Pope Francis calls attempts to force this sexual agenda on traditional societies “ideological colonialism.”
The United Nations considers the family one of the last remaining obstacles on mankind’s march to utopia. The bulldozers it’s using against the family include the ponderously named Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and their interpretations by various committees. Neither has been ratified by the U.S. Senate for a very good reason – they would subject women and children to exploitation in the name of liberation.
To promote women’s rights and health, prostitution would be legalized and abortion imposed worldwide. The role of women as mothers and homemakers would be de-emphasized at a time when every industrialized nation is experiencing plummeting birth rates.
Children could reject parental teachings on religion. A child’s “right to be heard” would include publicly rejecting parental authority. In the guise of a right to information on health care, adolescents would be given free access to contraception and abortion, regardless of age.
All of this from an organization that proclaimed in its 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights that “the family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.” Today, it needs protection from the United Nations.
Everything the United Nations does is demented and dangerous. The UN Arms Trade Treaty is intended to circumvent the Second Amendment.
The Kyoto Protocol and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change are based on the dubious assumption that climate change is a manmade phenomenon, resulting from CO2 emissions.
Kyoto is so bad that when it was before the U.S. Senate, all 95 Senators present agreed that the United States should not be a signatory, because the treaty “would result in serious harm to the economy of the United States.”
But the UN never relents on its commitment to de-industrialize the first world, and criminalize what’s called “contempt of religion.”
The latter is aimed at shielding from criticism one religion, and only one – the religion whose leaders encourage murder and mayhem in its name, whose hallmark is ethnic cleansing, which has enriched our vocabulary with expressions like “honor killings” and “holy war,” and whose legal code (sharia) knows not the First Amendment.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is the largest UN voting bloc. Its 56 member states represent 28% of the General Assembly. In 2015, the Qatar-based Union of Muslim Scholars (whose leader at the time was the spiritual guide of Egypt’s banned Muslim Brotherhood) called on the United Nations to criminalize “contempt of religion” – this from representatives of a religion that has nothing but contempt for every other religion.
The U.N.’s 193 members include some of the world’s worst human-rights abusers – like China, Cuba, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and North Korea. It’s estimated that only 46% of countries that vote in the General Assembly are full-fledged democracies. And each of their votes carry just as much weight as the nation that’s assessed for 22% of the U.N.’s operating cost.
These are the rogue states that seek to transfer territory from a democracy to a terrorist entity, that are desperately trying to deconstruct the family and which relentlessly attack Judeo-Christian civilization.
Given its affinity for totalitarianism, it should come as no surprise that Soviet spy Alger Hiss was an architect of the international organization and Acting Secretary General at its founding conference in 1945. Nazi war criminal Kurt Waldheim was Secretary General from 1972 to 1982. If Josef Mengele wasn’t in hiding, he might have been made the head of the World Health Organization.
Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci said worldwide revolution would not succeed until religion and the family were destroyed. The U.N. attacks both with equal ferocity.
Ayn Rand coined the term “the sanction of the victim.” That’s what we give the thugocracy when we pay our annual assessment (literally, blood money), when we allow the criminal conspiracy to occupy valuable real estate in Manhattan, and when we remain a member of an organization which does more damage than all of history’s marauding bands combined.
At least the Mongol Horde didn’t say, “We’re here to make the world a better place to live in.”
