Obama’s denial about wiretapping Trump is essentially a lie

Hat tip to Vincie Metcalf for the Levin lambast

Mark Levin has not always been a champion of Donald Trump.  He opposed him in his inimitable style in the primary.  However he has now pounced on the usual suspects for saying that Donald Trump’s tweets accusing Obama of wiretapping his phones at Trump Tower are false. All indications are that it is Obama who is essentially lying.  Spend a moment with Levin in his interview on FOX:

Have you noticed the carefully chosen words that Obama’s flaks issued in response to Trump’s tweets about the matter?  Via The Daily Mail

“Obama’s spokesman, Kevin Lewis, said those claims were ‘simply false’ . . . Lewis released a statement Saturday saying ‘neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen’

An absolutely Clintonian denial.

Huh . . . wiped the server? . . . ya mean like with a cloth or something?

Does anyone think that the accusation is that Obama physically placed a clip on the Trump Tower phone switchboard or manipulated his own computer to access email servers?  Or that all high-ranking underlings to Obama work out of the White House or that he is not briefed by security agencies on such matters and he and his underlings have no knowledge of such initiatives and the results?

Referencing item after item from liberal media outlets Levin establishes that the Obama administration was wiretapping communications out of Trump’s personal headquarters.  If you listen to Fox’s Gerardo Rivera puff about it you get the false impression that, well a FISA court must have authorized it so the request was honest due diligence –  never-mind that courts created under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) notoriously only turn down .03% of requests. In other words, to mix metaphors, they would authorize the wiretapping of a ham sandwich.

But Obama through his flaks continues to try to detract. And they get that wrong too:
