All you Trump voters out there…you better rid of those “Make America Great Again” hats and T-shirts which might be lying around your residence.
“Above reproach” Bob Mueller is coming and he has total and complete power to investigate, charge, and prosecute anybody he wants to, and you can bet he will find somebody to lock up.
You can also bet it won’t be “Big Jim” Comey, his “forever Best Friend, or any progressive Democrat (although Joe Manchin and Diane Feinstein better stand down a bit).
Mueller is the latest version of Patrick Fitzgerald, and he has a lot in common with him, besides enjoying that same kind of mythical honesty, non-partisan, seeker of justice. He is also, like Fitzgerald, a really, really good buddy of Comey.
Further, it was Comey who, while a member of a Republican administration (G W Bush’s), and an Acting Attorney General, went after members of that administration for the flimsiest, almost comical kind of case.
And now we have Comey again, as a “star witness this time”, getting a “Special Prosecutor”, again a great good friend, named to undertake another destructive, wide open, ‘go after anybody, somebody, for something’, as long as it damages the Republican president.
We won’t rehash the whole extraordinary miscarriage of justice Fitzgerald carried out in the “Valerie Plame” fiasco. It is now, however, historical fact that that 3 year investigation did not find the “crime” which was the basis for the entire debacle but did ‘successfully’ prosecute an innocent member of the Vice president’s staff for the offense of having a different recollection of years’ old events than did a liberal media ‘darling’, Tim Russert!
And now, this corrupt progressive Democrat strategy is once again being fully employed to bring down a Constitutionally elected president.
Named by another “Acting Attorney General” and former US Attorney under both G W Bush and Barack Obama, a “Special Prosecutor” (SP) is repeating the whole shocking, sordid history.
What is totally incomprehensible this time is that this is so transparent, so obvious, and presented so unashamedly, with the full cooperation and support of a news media that Lavrenti Berea and Josef Goebbels would have been proud to have!!
– The SP has taken over the investigation, which was supposed to about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, from the FBI, which under the direction of the weaselly Jim Comey himself, must have been the most inept, or incredibly corrupt investigatory agency in US history. (If that characterization insults current and retired FBI personnel, perhaps they’d better review the recent investigatory performance of their agency; a good place to start would be the Clinton”probes”, the IRS, the “Fast and Furious, etc,etc, all of which were based in far more solid evidence of crime than the so-called “Russian interference” or the “Obstruction” by President Trump.)
Consider these elements of this event which is aimed at and will consume overwhelming media and public attention for the next three and a half years, minimum, unless Trump is driven from office before then:
– Rod Rosenstein, now Acting AG is a “holdover” from the Obama regime. As US Attorney for the Baltimore District, does anyone recall that Mr. Rosenstein played any kind of role in the Freddy Gray case which featured extremely bad behavior by the Baltimore prosecutor and the Baltimore mayor?
– With no evidence of any credible kind, why did Rosenstein name a Special Counsel? America was told it primarily arose out of Russia’s interference with the 2012 election which Donald Trump had not been under investigation for having any role in. That “reason” for the SC has now morphed into criminal investigation of Mr. Trump for “Obstruction of Justice”, arising primarily out of Jim Comey’s firing as FBI Director!
– But initially, Comey’s firing was based on, and justified by, a report by Rosenstein himself. So who does Rosenstein choose as SC? Why the widely acknowledged very good friend of Jim Comey!How does Rosenstein justify that?! Answer: he doesn’t have to…the Democrats and the media are deliriously happy about and the Republicans are too cowardly to even express mild criticism of such an irrational decision. And, of course, there are quite a few Republican Trump and Trump-voter Haters who are also deliriously happy!
– What if Mr. Mueller cannot come up with the traditional “smoking gun” proving that Trump obstructed justice. Will he stop there? Oh come now…surely no one old enough to read believes that. He will undoubtedly follow the “Fitzgerald script”, searching endlessly for a villain who “colluded” with the Russians to throw the election to Trump.
– And that brings us to you, the Trump voter! Yes, only extreme desperation by Mueller would lead him to investigate individual voters. But who really knows what these people will attempt? And, like all of history’s “KGB’s”, Mr. Mueller has been given absolute power and obviously lacks the great judgment he is apparently wrongly credited with or he would not be recognizing his own”appearance of partiality”.
Who knows…that’s why Trump supporters better get ride of those “Make America Great Again” paraphernalia…’cause it appears that ain’t gonna happen!
– We could go on, but if you stayed with this piece up to here, please indulge us a little longer to just consider the following:
* It is always tiring to remind folks of how similar events and episodes which arise were treated when the president was our “beloved” Barack Obama.
Nevertheless, can anybody remember Attorney General Eric Holder being treated as Jeff Sessions is being? Eric Holder provably lied to Congress, under oath, about various things but especially the Obama administration’s “Fast and Furious” lethal debacle. (Note incidentally, that “Executive Privilege” was generally invoked in that scandal but Democrats are lying in wait, anxious to pounce if Trump should attempt to do so regarding any administration action.)
Just to refresh readers’ recollection on how Mr. Holder was treated in the aftermath of his being cited for Contempt of Congress, read NPR’s “report”, provided below. (And, by the way, you know who was FBI Director during those “non-investigations”?)
