I referred to the first matter as unfathomable. DLH responded:
“Unfathomable” only if one refuses to believe that Trump and his people are not in charge. They cannot act because they are fearful that it could make Ivanka, Jared, Gary Cohn, Kelly, et al really, really mad.
The purge of conservatives that Trump initially brought in for the purpose of fulfilling his campaign promises is now nearly complete with the departure of Gorka. At DOJ Sessions is so hamstrung, he might as well leave. Rosenstein has been in charge all along.
The best example of the situation is illustrated by the recent action by the FBI in its ‘dawn raid’ on Paul Manafort…about a dozen heavily armed FBI agents descended on Manafort’s home at 6 AM…conducted a “search” for 10 hours, and hauled off records, electronic devices, etc.
Supposedly they required credible evidence of a crime in order to get the search warrant. Did they? Who the hell would ever know?
This is real “secret police” stuff…Stalinist,Maoist: KGB, Red Guard, Stasi, Gestapo…FBI, what’s the difference? There should be very serious and widespread concern when an “election nullification” can be so easily accomplished.
We both agreed that Trump’s directive as commander in chief to end the enlistment of transgender recruits was needed but we were not enthusiastic about Trumps last sentence in the directive to the effect he wants to hear from the Secretary of Defense if he thinks problems can be overcome. We are aware that SOD Mattis is on record saying he “doesn’t see a problem with Obama’s order (installing transgenders) prior to Trump’s election.
