Democrats incredible outrage over sexual harassment. . .

 . . . as in not credible

Democrats are really flummoxed.  All the uniform posturing in the last few years  (safely post Bill Clinton presidency) about how women accusers must be believed —  oops — then the realization they went too far in light of recent revelations about Democrat sexual abusers (the preponderance of offenders in the news) — and now the deep concern for due process of the accused Democrat perps. That is on top of some  convenient statements of some others admitting their treatment of Bill Clinton’s accusers was wrong, a few going so far as to say they believed the accusers which of course inextricably, given the history, makes Hillary his enabler and two-faced at that.

It is a laugh to see how the various Democrat operatives try to thread the needle, avoiding culpability and being true to their convenient feminism. Of course the timing as regards admissions regarding Bill is because they want the Clintons out of the picture.  They realize they need to move on from them.  But they must also protect some of their icons. The media will help by how they decide what is news, who will be hammered on, and what will be given bare mention for the record.

Check out this article referring to a Cokie Roberts comment about Congressman John Conyers behavior. Does Cokie think she is being forthright or admitting  to duplicity?  Who more powerful to reveal and stop the harassment than women of the press?  Clearly on her watch the experience of “sexism” or abusive behavior was ignored if the perps were Democrats.  Below that is a clip from a Cal Thomas article which provides a convenient admission from Kathleen Sebelius about Bill Clinton.

Cokie Roberts: Oh, We All Knew To Avoid Getting in An Elevator With Rep. Conyers
Christine Rousselle writing:

“Don’t get in the elevator with him, you know, and the whole every female in the press corps knew that, right, don’t get in elevator with him,” said Roberts. She continued, “Now people are saying it out loud. And I think that does make a difference.”

Better Late Than Never: Really?

President Obama’s secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, spoke to Obama adviser David Axelrod for his podcast program.

About Clinton’s extramarital exploits, Sebelius said, “Not only did people look the other way, but they went after the women who came forward and accused him. And so it doubled down on not only bad behavior but abusive behavior. And then people attacked the victims.”

Sebelius also criticized Hillary Clinton and White House staff members for smearing her husband’s accusers. She said the same pattern is being repeated today as various men are accused of sexual harassment and their accusers are being twice victimized. . . .

One benefit from the Sebelius interview is that it should be the final word on the political lives of both Clintons. They should leave the stage for a new generation. Given their past and lust for money, however, I’m betting they won’t. It could be said their departure into retirement would be considered a case of better late than never.

A delightful women caller into the WOC Talk Radio Jim Fisher program yesterday provided an admonishment to women in cases of harassment. She expressed it in salty language addressed to shrinking violet women – to the effect-  real women will tell the *&%$# off right then and there, and that if it happens again there will be consequences.  It was very well said.
