Iowa Pro-Life Delegation — 5 out of 6

It wasn’t always this way.  Remember the ilk of Leach, Harkin, Braley, Nagle, Culver, Boswell, Smith, Mezvinsky (yes that Mezvinsky) all were part of protecting and inculcating Roe v Wade  and Doe v Bolton. Everyone of them had a nastiness to them about the issue although Leach tried to hide his for a while, maybe that made him worse. He was certainly a treacherous bastard to the interests of the people of Iowa in joining the Obamanation.

Now the only member of Iowa’s federal delegation to oppose the protection of the law to babies in the womb at any/every stage of their development, voting in lockstep with the most ardent doctrinaire abortion  promoters, one who refuses to even protect babies born alive after an attempted abortion, and who insists by his votes that you pay for the killing with your tax dollars, is David Loebsack here in Iowa’s 2nd CD.

And in spite of the rare Democrat who even bothers to say he/she is against abortion every one of them votes to protect the abortion regime with their support of Obamacare and of Democrat leadership who are absolutely possessed to inculcate abortion/ infanticide at every turn.  Any vote or claim you see from them superficially in furtherance of some pro-life initiative at the federal level and increasingly at the state level is a throw away vote or a lie and cannot expiate their protection of the abortion regime as long as they are a part of the abortion party.

Our compliments to the five all who are exemplified in this communication from Senator Joni Ernst:

Good evening –

Today, thousands of folks from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life to stand up for our society’s most vulnerable: the unborn.

Ahead of the march, I delivered remarks from the Senate floor on the importance of protecting and celebrating life.

You can watch my full remarks here or by clicking on the image below.

Iowans March to Defend Life

I also had the pleasure of hosting a reception, along with Senator Grassley and Congressmen Blum, King, and Young, for the Iowans that made the trip to Washington, D.C. to attend the March for Life. Each year I am grateful to see so many Iowans come together to participate, and  for their continued commitment to speaking out in defense of life.

Fighting for Life in Congress

Since coming to Washington, I have helped lead on a number of measures to protect life, safeguard women’s health, and shine a light on the realities of abortion.

  • Last January, I re-introduced my legislation to defund Planned Parenthood while protecting women’s health care services. As I have stated time and again, taxpayers should not be forced to foot the bill for roughly a half a billion dollars annually for an organization like Planned Parenthood – the nation’s single largest provider of abortions – that exhibits such disrespect for human life.
  • Last April, President Trump signed my legislation into law that ensures states are not forced to provide entities like Planned Parenthood with federal Title X dollars.
  • Another effort my colleagues and I continue to work on is passing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to safeguard unborn children at 5 months after fertilization, a point at which there is significant scientific evidence that abortion inflicts tremendous pain on these vulnerable human beings. Just this week, we called on Senate Leadership to consider this legislation on the Senate floor, and will continue to push for this important bill to become law.

A quick question…
