All that is necessary . . .

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
“Road Not Taken”, by Robert Frost

THE DOJ/FBI PROBLEM: TOO MANY PETER STRZOKS…AND NOT ENOUGH J. CHRISTIAN ADAMSES?

By now, few earthlings do not know who Peter Strzok is…or what he is.

But not nearly enough Americans  know J. Christian Adams.

To define each briefly:

Mr. Strzok is an unprincipled, hyper-biased, disgrace to his office, political hack who has posed as a “dedicated public servant”, devoted to “protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution of the United States”,  having an unswerving commitment to assuring equal justice for all.

J. Christian Adams is a former voting rights attorney in the Department of Justice. Mr. Adams is a “former” voting rights attorney in the DOJ because, in the face of what he perceived (with some pretty solid evidence) as officially sanctioned corruption at the highest levels of that department, he made the courageous decision to resign his position. (For specific information, Google: Meghan Kelly’s interview J Christian Adams, 2010); For the left’s version, here’s NPR.  Know that this is the full extent of what your liberal ‘friends’ know about this :https://www.npr.org/sections/tellmemore/2010/07/13/128489128/justice-or-politics

———-

Present and former employees of the DOJ/FBI frequently see their positions as a “high calling”, with awesome responsibilities and obligations , and with immense power to seek and deliver true justice.

       Our (FBI) Core Values

  •  Rigorous obedience to the Constitution of the United States;
  • Respect for the dignity of all those we protect;
  • Compassion;
  • Fairness;
  • Uncompromising personal integrity and institutional integrity;
  • Accountability by accepting responsibility for our actions and decisions and  the consequences of our actions and decisions;
  • Leadership, both personal and professional; and
  • Diversity.

Their self-perception, for most, is essentially true. Much is expected of those who serve in the DOJ and the FBI. So vital is their responsibility to uphold the Constitution on behalf of some 300 million American citizens, few would disagree, and perhaps fewer still would suggest that our nation has not been well-served by thousands of agents, technical and administrative personnel who have served, often at great personal sacrifice over the years, and continue to do so today.

But…in the final analysis, service in the DOJ or FBI is a JOB. As a job the person doing it may have many reasons for having chosen this work. Very high among them for many is almost certainly ‘service in a solemn purpose; important also it is a means to earn sustenance and security for their families.

SORRY, BUT I AM TIRED OF HEARING THAT EFFORTS TO EXPOSE JUST HOW MUCH CRIMINALITY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, THE DOJ, AND THE FBI WAS INVOLVED IN IS “UNDER-MINING” THE WIDELY RESPECTED FBI AND ALL THOSE EQUALLY RESPECTED AND DEDICATED AGENTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL WHO SERVE SO UNSELFISHLY IN OUR NATION’S PREMIER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

Yes. I am sure that there  are many highly professional, well-meaning people in the FBI, serving at all levels, and dedicated to the highest principles of equal justice and to upholding the Constitution of the USA.

Though I do not know any of them on a personal level, I am aware that they have served with distinction and devotion, it is not debatable.

But, now, as information mounts regarding the lawlessness and complete disregard for all safeguards, legal and constitutional against high level corruption, by the highest ranking members of the Obama administration, one can invoke that famous quote attributed to 18th century British statesman, Edmund Burke: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”

High-minded politicians, ‘objective’ media personalities, former members of the agencies involved, and others in the public sphere constantly remind us that there might be some in the DOJ or FBI who were, or are, guilty of unsavory acts, or were more committed to partisan political aims.

“But we must know and remember”, we are told, ” that they were only at the highest levels, and for the most part were political appointments and can thus be dealt with appropriately without smearing all the good people upon which this nation must depend for its security and for the even-handed application of justice”.

While this will undoubtedly offend some of the latter, I ain’t buying it!

To expose the extent of yet-alleged wrong-doing by the previous president must not be done because it will damage the “greatest law enforcement agency” in the world  is ludicrous!

Past and present members of the FBI are eager to tell you how proud they were/are to serve in such a high calling.

And, it is, indeed, a “high calling”. As the nation’s leading law enforcement agency, the FBI’s responsibilities are vast and all-powerful. The FBI has a fearsome potential to control the lives of the entire population of America.

It is an agency with unrivaled investigative and intelligence gathering powers

AND WHEN THAT POWER IS WIELDED BY A ROGUE LEADERSHIP FOR PURELY POLITICAL PURPOSES AIMED AT NULLIFYING THE CONSTITUTION, THOSE WHO SWORE A SACRED OATH TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION ARE PROPERLY OBLIGED “TO DO SOMETHING”!!!

The FBI enjoys a long history and generally excellent reputation for its responsible and proper use of its powers. The members of the agency are universally regarded as men and women of the highest integrity with an unswerving commitment to the application of true justice. Their reputations have been well-earned, often at the risk of their own lives in securing safety for their fellow Americans and all who are touched by their awesome capabilities.

While the FBI and the people who serve in this agency are owed the respect and gratitude of their fellow Americans, it would be dangerously foolhardy to not recognize the reality of any human enterprise…but especially one of such far reaching power over the people of this nation.

In the wrong hands and at the direction of unsavory persons with dark motivations, the evil such an all-powerful entity can impose on the innocent is awesome.

There are tragically numerous examples of just what devastation an agency of such power can wreak on a society…the Soviet Union’s KGB and NKVD, the Iran Stasi, the Nazi Gestapo, and more are fearful examples.

ONE MUST ASK, WERE THERE NO “GOOD MEN AND WOMEN” IN THOSE ORGANIZATIONS WHO WERE WILLING TO “DO SOMETHING” TO OPPOSE THE TRIUMPH OF THAT EVIL?

Those that have been need to be heralded!
