“Shoeless”Paul Ryan…Say it ain’t so, Paul

Paul Ryan Not Running For Reelection

Ohh Nooo! Say it ain’t so Paul.

“Why it matters: House Republicans were already in a very tough spot for the midterms, with many endangered members and the good chance that Democrats could win the majority.” Axios

But, does it really (matter)?

Axios reports that Paul says it’s just so hard to work with Trump:

“…ready to step out of a job that has become endlessly frustrating, in part because of President Trump.”

Wonder how Trump feels about the congressional GOP caucus.        DLH

Rat chewing a hole in the ship

With this news we hope he resigns the speakership immediately.  His countenance will only drag GOP prospects down. Leave the Speakership and STFU

One Response to “Shoeless”Paul Ryan…Say it ain’t so, Paul

  1. Eugene Mattecheck Jr says:

Your headline whisked me back in time. I remembered this Roger Daltry solo effort, never caught on. “Say it ain’t so Joe” was an obscure reference at best, so I googled the song lyrics. Whoa! How prophetic to have the word “trump” in this short clip. (lyric incomplete)
    From 1975:
Say it ain’t so, Joe please
    Say it ain’t so
That’s not what I want to hear Joe and I’ve got a right to know

Say it ain’t so, Joe please
    Say it ain’t so
I’m sure they’re telling us lies Joe please tell us it ain’t so

They told us that our hero has played his trump card
He doesn’t know how to go on
We’re clinging to his charm and determined smile
But the good ole days are gone

The army and the empire may be falling apart
    The money has gotten scarce
One mans word held the country together
But the truth is getting fierce

Roger, I loved the Data/Zuck photos. I didn’t deserve credit. Thanks
