“Bobby’s” last profane hurrah!
Los Angeles Times contributor Virginia Heffernan believes Robert De Niro deserve a Pulitzer prize for dropping an F-bomb at the Tony Awards Sunday night, adding that the outburst from the aging Hollywood heavyweight was just what the ceremony needed.
“I can’t stop thinking about that swift, incisive editorial last night. Two monosyllables. Underscoring the presidency’s baseline indececency [sic] with a violation of ‘decency,’” she tweeted Monday morning. “The satire of ‘norms.’ I’d say Robert De Niro deserved a Pulitzer for if he didn’t deserve a…Tony.”

Why Not? The Pulitzer Prize isn’t anything of significance anymore anyway. As the “most coveted and prestigious awards in literature and journalism”, the current Pulitzer is recognition of the most popular portrayer of the literature and journalism progressive agenda.
I’d say, in all fairness, “Bobby” DeNiro’s childish outburst at the Tony Awards probably should earn him a Pulitzer. It represents the full extent of the power of expression of the typical liberal journalist.
I also believe “Bobby” should get this most coveted and prestigous award because he is unlikely to ever again be truly deserving of any legitimate recognition for achievement in his field. The most he will receive is a mountain of ‘pity’ awards and “see ya, Bob” banquets in recognition of his talent’s long expired shelf life.

Face it Bob, this was your last pathetic and failed effort to get one more round of applause for your cleverness…you got applause, but it wasn’t for your cleverness. Rather, that applause was for your childish hatefulness and limited ability to express emotion without a script. That applause was because much of your audience shared that same trait.
Enjoy your prize, Bob, and have a nice retirement.
