The effort at a glance is to suggest Trump likes the policy and wants children separated from their parents. It is appalling propaganda lie. Note the companion “immigration” piece from the same publication. The child referred to is a sixteen year-old who instructs some children as to how to change a diaper. This is only shocking to the most cloistered of pathetic journalists probably emanating from one child house-holds. In the real world this is how children are raised and indeed the species propagated. Older children help with the younger. Only infantile journalists find this remarkable.
Now reading the rest of the expose it gets more breathless:
Food, air-conditioning, medical care, actually extensive human interaction with siblings when relevant, while their parent(s) are “necessarily” away for a couple of weeks. Oh the humanity. Where was it they were leaving again and how much better was that?
The number 2000 seems to be the recurring level of children abused by the idea that “parents” can drag you across hell’s acres on the idea there is nothing wrong or no alternative to surreptitiously entering a country at will. The parents have indicated criminal intent. Children of parents honestly seeking asylum who present themselves at border checkpoints are not separated from their parents.
