Re: Blasey Ford testimony — don’t pop the popcorn just yet

  • Where is the “there” in any of this?

According to CNBC :

Christine Blasey Ford, accuser of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, agrees to Senate testimony about sexual assault claim

Yeh, except read the response her shrill shill Dr Katz (JD) issued on her behalf:

Dr. Ford accepts the Committee’s request to provide her first-hand knowledge of Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual misconduct next week. Although many aspects of the proposal you provided via email, on September 21, 2018, at 2:33 pm, are fundamentally inconsistent with the Committee’s promise of a fair, impartial investigation into her allegations, and we are disappointed with the leaks and the bullying that have tainted the process, we are hopeful that we can reach agreement on details. Can we set up a time for later this afternoon to continue our negotiations?
Sincerely,
Debra S. Katz

“Tainted the process”, that is just rich coming from this execrable lawyer. We humbly suggest the details might be claimed by her to be just too hopeless, in pursuit of further delay of course. Literally the bottom line is that they have only agreed to “continue our negotiations.”   Lets look at a few of the previous requirements accuser Blasey has insisted on with a straight face, these from a supposed mature worldly adult professional:

That she needed more time to prepare – she has had months just since her poison pen letter to Diane Feinstein and if the matter is so serious why is her schedule less accommodating than the Senate’s?

She insists that Kavanaugh cannot be in the room when she testifies that he sexually assaulted her—  mostly we think that relates to how nervous she is about her own veracity, and or memory, not to mention the obvious shredding of the accused’s right to face his or her accuser. This child needs to woman-up

She insisted on testifying only after Kavanaugh testifies,  —  such a requirement is so profoundly ridiculous in its unfairness it does not need any comment  . . . no opportunity for Kavanaugh to respond to any new charge or alleged fact.  Chairman Grassley of course did not entertain that BS.

She is uncomfortable being in confined spaces like airplanes.  – ‘”Dr” heal thyself”  but only after recounting for us how many times you have flown for business or pleasure, in order to get a handle on the seriousness of your phobia, and why your people did not book  AMTRAC  or anticipate something other than a non-stop air itinerary given your confined space phobia, but supposed eagerness to testify. And, if air travel is just too much for a delicate flower like yourself, why didn’t you immediately accept Chairman Grassley’s offer to send committee lawyers to take her testimony in the comfort of some appropriate setting nearby?

We agree with those commentators who point out that in a fair world the absolute flimsiness of her directed accusation does not deserve a hearing. Blasey should put her details in writing for consideration for all to see not just Diane Feinstein and if there is something that gives pause then so be it.  But a hurdle must be for such an outlier accusation, given all the testimony we have about Kavanaugh’s character then and now, that there be some specification adequate for investigation as to time and place and corroboration because as of now there is none of these.

Her only witnesses heretofore have no such recall of anything she says.  Given all the time that has been available to them, months, accusers (essentially Senate Democrats) cannot be allowed to spring evidence or hold witnesses in their back pockets nor should they be allowed to dribble them out as a delaying tactic, justice delayed is a Justice denied or something like that.  Without time and place how can someone adequately pursue proof of innocence without such specification . . .essentially . . .  “Sometime in a year I don’t quite remember, in a place I cannot narrow down  you wronged me.”  How does the accused prove he was not “there” given such parameters?

Senate Democrats have no scruples and are despicable.

Will the taxpayer have to pay the tab for Ford’s make up artist?
