Arizona rides the bi-cycle of political correctness

Kyrsten Sinema Becomes First “Openly” Bi-Sexual” Senator; Great Joy Ensues!

Arizona’s Long Famine is Over…It has Finally Achieved Bisexual Greatness!

Just having only 6 years ago, broken new ground by electing the nation’s first genuine “Flake” to the US Senate, the Grand Canyon State now sends to Washington, the country’s first female Senator who has been willing to tell the world (literally) that she likes to have sex with either gender…men, women, you name it, she’ll do it.

Sinema’s victory in the 2018 Senate election signifies great progress “for both the bisexual community and society at large”, according to Robyn Ochs (pronounced “OX”?) a ‘bisexual advocate’ and editor of “BiWomen Quarterly”: “To have out bisexual officials be elected to public office signifies that we have made progress in our understanding and acceptance of bisexual people,” Ochs told NBC News. “Our cultural mainstream understanding and acceptance of lesbian and gay people has progressed much more than our understanding of bi and trans people, and this election cycle has been really important.”*

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez called Sinema’s win “a stunning victory,” and noted its historic relevance.
“Arizonans went to the polls last Tuesday looking for bold new leadership, and that’s exactly what they’re going to get with their first-ever female senator and our nation’s second openly LGBTQ senator,”* Perez said in a statement shared with NBC News.

(Note: Martha McSally, the GOP candidate Sinema defeated in the Senate race and former USAF Combat Fighter Pilot, was just named by Republican Governor Doug Ducey to fill the US Senate seat vacated by the death of Sen. John McCain.

Thus, Arizona may now claim to have not only the first ‘openly female bisexual’ senator but also the first female ‘openly ‘non-bisexual’ senator in history!

Thus, Arizona may now claim to have not only the first ‘openly female bisexual’ senator but also the first female ‘openly ‘non-bisexual’ senator in history! There has been no comment on how important a ‘female non-bisexual senator’ is to the non-bisexual community or society at large.)

Thus, Arizona may now claim to have not only the first ‘openly female bisexual’ senator but also the first female ‘openly ‘non-bisexual’ senator in history! There has been no comment on how important a ‘female non-bisexual senator’ is to the non-bisexual community or society at large. Some Senators probably think it isn’t all that important.

But we have some questions:

*“Our cultural mainstream understanding and acceptance of lesbian and gay people has progressed much more than our understanding of bi and trans people, and this election cycle has been really important.”

Does anybody know what Ms. Ochs is saying here? I think I “understand” gay and lesbian people, and, I don’t refuse to ‘accept’ them for their being as such.) But, as to “bi” people: I neither care nor wish to know the nature of their sexual preferences.

But what I don’t “understand” is why the fact that Ms. Sinema wants us all to know that she likes to have sex with either a man or a woman makes this “election cycle…really important”?!

Will Sinema’s election now encourage more “openly bi’s” to seek public office? And will that then result in “great progress” for our “society at large”? HOWZAT??!!

*“Arizonans went to the polls last Tuesday looking for bold new leadership, and that’s exactly what they’re going to get with their first-ever female senator and our nation’s second openly LGBTQ senator,” (Democratic National Committee Chairman, Tom Perez)

Maybe Mr. Perez is more confusing in his comments than Ms. Ochs.

Arizonans, according to Perez went to the polls last month searching desperately for “bold new leadership”; If they’ve been around Tom Perez very much, I can understand why they’d want ‘bold, new leadership’. But, if they thought a far left, ‘Code Pink” anti-war supporter, and non-discriminatory (at least by whom she wants us all to know she’s willing to have sex with) LGBTQ senator is sure to provide it, those Arizonans might be looking for ‘bold, new leadership” in all the wrong places!            DLH
