Our observation:

“…KNEW REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS WOULD PUSH BACK!!!?? ” Oh, come now, Peggy. You cannot possibly be serious! Or are you something else?

Republicans would ‘push back’???!!…like they did with Obamacare? Like they did in support of the ‘wall’ and border security? How they fear “setting precedents”?
How, even when controlling all three government branches, they couldn’t even “push back” against Planned Parenthood!

Peggy, you haven’t noticed how dominant in opposing or neutralizing ‘moderately conservative’ policy the left has been, though controlling just one half of one third of our government’s three branches?

Miss Peggy continues:

Our observation:

Oh really, Peggy! Are you familiar with the name, “Teddy Kennedy’.  He was known , worldwide, as the “Liberal Lion” of the Senate. He was also known, worldwide, for a couple of other things. Putting aside (very reluctantly, the “Mary Jo Kopechne” side of this Democrat Party’s “eternal icon”, we will try to remind you of his ‘tour de force’ performance in 1987, which “(like your version of Donald Trump, was “brutish”, and behavior in a way that shows disrespect for the “humanity of others’).

Recall Peggy, *Senator Kennedy’s speech before Congress and the world in which he viciously sought to and succeeded in, destroying the career and integrity, and reputation of a man far more virtuous than himself??  And you claim that Donald Trump doesn’t show “respect for the humanity of others…”??!!?

“Integrity, respect for humanity”… which anybody but Trump person might you be referring to Miss Peggy?

It wasn’t Donald Trump who promised the voters he would work tirelessly to rid the nation of a dangerous and wildly unpopular legislation rammed through by a “brutish” opposition party… but then went before Congress and, while grinning broadly turned thumbs down in casting the deciding vote to repudiate his and his Party’s commitment to the voters. That was John McCain, the guy to whom the song “Stand by Me” wasn’t dedicated by his first wife, Carol, who seemed to lack the money and connections that man needed to fulfill his ambitions.

Still she continues:

 “In less than three months in office they (the 3 freshman radical lefty “ladies”) have established a new mood, an approach to national politics that is combative, angry, polarizing. Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota surely meant to oppose U.S. policy toward Israel but somehow couldn’t quite manage to do it without being obviously anti-Semitic—“Israel has hypnotized the world,” “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.” It caused an uproar, she apologized, but it seems never to have occurred to her that you can’t talk about your fellow Americans that way. Or that she is a public figure and has to actually model admirable behavior.”

“The mean girls of Congress have learned at his knee. They have taken their tactics from him. They claim to be his reluctant imitators but I think they admire his ferocity. They have a taste for it, and a talent.

“They are good at being the thing they supposedly despise. They are not the antidote to the current brutality but an iteration of it.

“They are his natural children.”

Our observation:

NO Peggy! “We don’t all know ” that this started with Donald Trump…and neither do you! It did not even start with Chuck Schumer, or Nancy Pelosi, or even the revolting Harry Reid. Not even with the horny Bill Clinton or the vulgar Lyndon Johnson, or JFK whose very disgusting escapades have only come to light in recent years.

But each of those acted ‘brutishly’, willfully ignored ‘traditions and norms’, none of which, though, were accurately and widely reported by a biased media or commented on by bitter, self-absorbed columnists.

Each of them and many others, celebrated and admired by an un-informed and mis-informed public, by an ill-educated press and by malicious ‘educators’…. Tlaib, Cortez, and Omar have many ‘natural fathers’! and Donald Trump was not in the picture)

    By PN’s lights Republicans are supposed to sit back and take it, invite it and then rise above it. Ronald Reagan didn’t rise above it when it counted — he turned off the mic and told them where to go. He called evil evil.

    The 3 stooges are a product of the festering hatred the Resistance has for the President. Trump’s a thorn in their side. What happens when you get a thorn? A sore spot turns red, and the resulting infection produces some nasty by-products. That nasty stuff is filling at least 3 seats in the House.
