How can Trump do the people’s business . . .

. . . if tormentors/obstructionists are keeping him from it?

Answer: do a Saul Alinsky on them . . . here are a few: (and Trump is doing them)

“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

“The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.”

“If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.”

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

The story behind Pelosi’s claim, that White House meeting and Trump’s angry comments

 ABC News:
“But the president may have played into Pelosi’s hands. Instead of attention aimed on how she is trying to hold her caucus back from impeachment — a step Democratic leaders think could imperil their chances of taking down Trump at the ballot box in 2020 — Pelosi and Schumer could change the focus to the president’s behavior.”

“…may have played into Pelosi’s hands…”  !!

You have to be a smug, gutless politician, or a a lazy, partisan ‘pretend-journalist’ to even think like the above; suggesting that a meeting to further their mutual interest could possibly be productive given the attitudes and behavior the two Democrats chose to put on prominent public display just before going into such a meeting!

President Trump and and his two most bitter and obnoxious critics in Washington had agreed to meet and discuss ways to address key issues confronting America, including infrastructure, trade, and the farm bill.

But earlier in the day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, furthering the seemingly never-ending Democrat investigations and personal attacks on the president met with reporters and told them that Mr. Trump “… in plain sight… is obstructing justice and is engaged in a coverup — and that could be impeachable, and, as they say, the coverup is frequently worse than the crime.”

According to a Time magazine report, Pelosi’s comments received “thunderous applause from the liberal audience.”

The then always “devout Catholic” Ms. Pelosi tells everyone, “We want to give this President the opportunity to do something historic for our country,…I pray for him and I pray for the United States of America.”

Now tell us, folks. Most, if not all of our readers are mature adults. You’ve “been around the block” a few times; you know how the world works.

And, if you’re not a badly informed liberal whose political ‘savvy’ is informed only by NPR, the NY Times, and CNN; nor a politician from either major party who has fed from the public trough most of your adult life; nor a member of the so-called free, and objective press, then you are probably not ‘shaken to your core’ over the president’s reaction to the two clowns who presented themselves in his office today…two of probably the sleaziest politicians America has seen in a very long time.

Only one from the above groups would suggest that a person who has been subjected to three years of unrelenting attacks aimed at denying him the office to which 60 million Americans elected him in a fair and honest election… whose family has been subjected to the nastiest assaults on their character and their accomplishments… and has endured unprecedented, and false, accusations of misbehavior and illegality of which it is the accusers themselves who are the actual guilty parties, should just ignore all of it and warmly greet two of the major perpetrators of such activity and allow them to pose as respectable, unselfish, and serious people!

Are you kidding me?!

In our view, and we’d humbly suggest, many of yours as well, President Trump’s behavior today should be applauded by every citizen of this nation who truly does “want America to be great again”!

Imagine, immediately before joining the president in a meeting touted as the start of constructive cooperation between the political adversaries for the good of the country, Nancy Pelosi goes out and publicly suggests that the president shockingly dishonest and his “impeachment” is likely!

Is that a sign of sincere intent?!

The vicious behavior by one of the country’s major political parties would be unacceptable by any reasonable, stable, sane person anywhere in the world. Their despicable, wholly contemptible actions, from the start of Trump’s presidency, have damaged and endangered America on every front on which this duly elected president has attempted to govern…foreign affairs, trade, economy, national unity, national security, national identity, etc.

And yet, he has stood tall and accomplished much, in spite of…

HOW CAN ANY AMERICAN, SINCERE IN HIS OR HER LOVE OF THEIR COUNTRY, NOT VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP?      DLH

But Pelosi showed no signs of backing down from her assessment or agenda.
“The fact is, in plain sight, this President is obstructing justice and is engaged in a coverup — and that could be impeachable,” Pelosi said to thunderous applause from the liberal audience. “As they say, the coverup is frequently worse than the crime.”

“Sources tell ABC News that the president arrived late to the White House meeting with lawmakers and shook no hands. He told lawmakers that he is in favor of working with Democrats on infrastructure, trade, and the farm bill but then made reference to the speaker’s comments about his taking part in a “cover-up.”

“The sources said the president told Pelosi, Schumer, and others gathered that they needed to get all of the investigations over before they could talk about anything else. There were echoes of the meeting in January when the president stormed out of the room as lawmakers tried to come to a deal to avert a government shutdown.

“According to one person in the room this time, they realized something was off when Trump didn’t make his way to the center of the table, where he customarily sits, started talking and then turned around and left before anyone could respond.

“Senior level administration sources tell ABC News some aides close to the president tried to stop him for marching to the Rose Garden for the last-minute press conference.
“The president, according to sources, was mad from first thing Wednesday morning and the Pelosi remarks about a “cover-up” pushed him over the edge. He then demanded to speak to cameras.

“But the president may have played into Pelosi’s hands.

“Instead of attention aimed on how she is trying to hold her caucus back from impeachment — a step Democratic leaders think could imperil their chances of taking down Trump at the ballot box in 2020 — Pelosi and Schumer could change the focus to the president’s behavior.”
