Thank God for Elijah Cummings. We might never have known about the very nefarious dealing going on between the “allies” of Donald Trump and the evil masters of the Saudi ‘Kingdom’!
The report prepared for the Cummings’ committee says, “The Trump administration has virtually obliterated the lines normally separating government policymaking from corporate and foreign interests…”
” The documents show the administration’s willingness to let private parties with close ties to the President wield outsized influence over U.S. policy toward Saudi Arabia.”
Readers! This is BAD!

In the 4th paragraph of this “blockbuster” story…after 156 words alerting the public to the furtive activities of those wily “Trump allies”, we learn this:
“The House report doesn’t accuse the consortium of breaking any laws.”
And, later in the story, this:
“The Saudi investment in the Westinghouse bid and in IP3 doesn’t appear to have ever been consummated.”
Wow! Hats off to Warren P. Strobel! He’s the crack Wall Street Journal ‘investigative’ reporter who broke this story!
No “Fake News” here!
