Another way of referring to Carl Bernstein other than as a “veteran investigative journalist” is “washed up former reporter trying pathetically to recapture his undeserved “glory days”.
We know it’s “pathetic” because why would someone who believes he is an “accomplished journalist” be willing to appear ever on CNN? Either sad old Carl is dead broke or is deluded into thinking he (and CNN) is (are) ‘relevant’ in the ‘real’ journalism industry?
And the Washington Examiner, willing to print and promote his drivel moves itself closer to the “Jim Acosta Realm of Comic Journalism”.
Now, of course, Veritaspac would be the last to say “we saw this coming and warned our readers”. However, we did see this coming, and we did ‘put it out there’.
We’ve written more than once that, as savvy as Trump is, PR-wise and ‘Strategic ShowBiz-wise”, we feared that he may be allowing the mountain of evidence he has at his finger tips, proving widespread, criminal corruption of the Obama administration and its various equally corrupt intelligence and law enforcement agencies and bureaus which attempted to prevent his election and have since sought to overturn it, to be delayed too long. And that the delay in getting it out to the American would give the Deep State time to blunt or even neutralize its impact on the Left’s effort to destroy our nation as it was founded.
With Carl Bernstein as the unlikely “tip of the spear” in this effort, we fear that our concerns have become reality. DLH

This additional excerpt from the Washington Examiner article raises another issue:
According to the whistleblower complaint, released by the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday, multiple U.S. officials alleged “senior White House officials had intervened to ‘lock down’ all records of the phone call” between Trump and Zelensky. This involved moving the records to a separate electronic system “that is otherwise used to store and handle classified information of an especially sensitive nature,” which has prompted Democrats to say this is evidence of a “cover-up.”
So unless something is classified at the highest level people are allowed to rummage through the conversations ? If that is the case we want to see transcripts of all of Obama’s conversations with other nations leaders cuz we heard there were some unconstitutional things going on.
Asked by CNN’s Brooke Baldwin if these could be equated to the Nixon tapes in the Watergate era, as Bernstein said he has received text messages today asking this very question, he declined to provide a direct answer. But he did say these are “clearly documents that the president does not want exposed,” and he sees “parallels” to what transpired under the Nixon administration.
He must mean leaks from the deep state that does not exist. V’PAC
